Total Design Framing

General Info
Since 1998, Rose City Framemakers has been helping people to display, preserve and conserve their artwork and family treasures. With a wide variety of resources and samples, we are able to work with you to help you decide what it best for your artwork inside and out. Most shops focus on the look of the job when it's done. We focus not only on the over look, but what is best to preserve your piece for years of enjoyment. We prefer to use time tested companies and products such as Larson Juhl, Bainbridge, Crescent, Universal Arquati, Nelson's, Omega, Bella, Max, Engelson, Furst Brothers, and Vermont Hardwoods to name a few. Our selection is not your typical "run of the mill". We support the smaller frame manufacturers across the US to bring a unique selection to you. By doing so, your framing will always be a one of a kind piece. Concerning framing Needle-points and the Needle Arts: We are one of the few shops in New Jersey who will actually "lace" needle-art when we mount it. There are no pins left in to hold the needle-art in place and no adhesives are ever used. everything that will come in contact with your piece will cause no harm to it. It is a time consuming process, but since we have been doing this for over 25 years, we are pretty good at it. Actually, we're great at it. Our thought is that you spent so much time and energy in making your masterpiece, why wouldn't we do the same to frame it. And since we are so good at it, we don't need to charge a fortune for it. We only use TruVue glazing products for our glass choices. We've tried the rest when we opened 20 years ago and decided early on to stick to only one brand and to make the best brand we could find. This ensures that whenever you frame something with us, you are guaranteed that your glass will match your previous orders and that you have the best available on the market. One of best assets is out computer mat cutters. We've had one for the past 10 years and it is our best employee. No longer do you have to stick to a plain rectangular opening. We are able to do multiple openings, oval and circle openings and unique layouts that would be difficult if done by hand. And we can save your layouts to use year after year if you are repeating projects. You designing options have increased tenfold with us having this in-house resource.
