Desoto Collision Center in Southaven, MS, is Top Notch! Not only do they do an Excellent job repairing your car to make it look brand new again but their employees and their customer service is better than any place I’ve been to! Be sure to ask for Dwayne! Dwayne is Awesome! He really cares about his customers and goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy! He did an excellent job on my Honda CRV and even got out some very deep scratches that I thought would never come out! My CRV looks like new again! Thank you, Dwayne! Perfect job and great customer service! I will never go anywhere else!

I recently took my elderly aunt's 2004 Infinity G35 here to get an estimate for a damaged rear bumper. An employee here was an adjuster for the vehicle's insurance company and did give me options for other body shops. I agreed to just have the repairs done at this Desoto Collision Center since the Allstate adjuster was at this location.
Boy did I later regret agreeing to that.
I didn't mind that the job took later than I was told. An ordered part came in damaged to the shop and I understand those things happen beyond this business control.
The problem came when the work was completed.
When I came in to pay the deductible the receptionist tried to charge me the full price for the repair even though this shop had already received the check from the insurance company before the work ever started on this car.
After I had to get that matter straighten out with the people up front, I come outside to inspect the car and discover shoddy paintwork on the new bumper cover with blemishes.
No one from the business has even followed up to see if the work was satisfactorily done.
Desoto Collision Center seems just another business that will take someone's money and be done with less than standard work.

Tomorrow will be the third time taking my car back. They put on my work papers saying they replaced my door handles but yet they still had straches. They put 600 miles on my brand new car. They don't know how to do alignment, I had to go to dealership to get that done CORRECTLY. And the manager tried to tell me on my 3 month old car that the horn that was damaged in the wreck was a manufacturer problem which was a lie. Everything the first time was sloppy work, doors and hood was put on crooked. I will be so glad when I'm done with this place. I have told everyone to NEVER go here. They said I would have my car within one month and it ended up being 2 1\2. I had to call and call and complain in order to get my car back. I had to call them in order to see if the parts was in after 3months of waiting. Oh and its July and I brought my car to them in February. Thus place I a complete joke!!!!

AWFUL. Receptionist put me on hold three times. I had to keep calling back, and to top it off car is still not ready and been almost two weeks! DO NOT go to this place!

Worst service I have ever received at a place of business hands down. First off the receptionist Pam is extremely rude. I had made arrangements with the persons insurance that hit me to drop the car off. Since this was a provider on their list they said I would not need an estimate or anything just to drop the car off when I was ready. Took it the day after the accident to DeSoto Collision. Pam told me she would call that afternoon with the price and when the car should be ready. Never heard from her gave her until 3pm the next day (which was 24 hrs after dropping the car off) so finally I called her. She had the estimate just never bothered to call. They told me the car would be ready to following Wednesday (1 week after drop off). I called them that Wednesday because I never heard from them they said it was ready (but didn't bother to call again). The rear bumper had trash or areas where the paint peeled up where they had painted it. It was not a smooth bumper at all. This car is brand new and less than 5 months old so I refused to accept that. When my husband went in to tell them about the problem the receptionist went to get Sammy and told him we had a problem. He said "Don't they all" so evidently this is a common concurrence at Desoto Collision. He came outside and seemed beyond annoyed that we wanted to send the car back but we left it. They told us it would be ready in 2 days which was Friday. Gave them until 2pm Friday no word so I called yet again and they said it would be ready. Go to pick it up and the lower plastic piece under the bumper is scratched in 5 places (evidently when they took it off to paint the bumper again they damaged this piece) Sammy wanted to argue and tell me over and over it was a nice piece. I had to tell him time and time again I didn't care if it was new it wasn't right. Also at this point we realized the dual exhaust (which was the most heavily damaged area of the car) was still uneven by about 4 inches. I was not happy at this point coming to pick my car up a third time and it not be ready and told Sammy I had never encountered a company who provided this quality of work and service. He then asked "didn't they provide me with a rental car who cares how long it takes to get it back I have a rental car." He is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with and should not deal with the public. I told him I would not do business there again and he said that was fine with him. It took them another 3 days but finally Pam called to say the car was ready and during this conversation she hung up on me. I had to contact the insurance company since this was the company they recommended. They had to contact the company for me to finally get my car back and fixed correctly. I would recommend using ANY other body shop in the area besides them! It took them 2 weeks and 3 attempts to fix a minor repair.

One of the worst people to do business with. The receptionist at the front desk was VERY rude and the other branch in Olive Branch was not much better. If you do not like to deal with people, stay at the BACK. You are being paid to do your job, it is not free.

Stay away from this place!!! I heard the work they do is great, but after getting an estimate from them for some minor damage, I was told 997.00. I went to another place that I heard did great work as well, their estimate...427.00. Desoto slapped on unnessacery work, like replacing a bumper that did not need replaced, other than that, the work that will be done is the exact same, n I am getting it done a whole lot cheaper. They are obviously scam artist.

Quick work & great color match on my metallic silver

March 2009, Dennis and the guys replaced two quarter panels and installed inner fenders and brake cooling ducts for us on a metallic silver C6 Corvette. Work was quick, price was equitable, and quality of work and customer service were excellent, keeping us updated almost daily on the progress. If you're familiar with bodywork or paint shops (or have seen some of the botched jobs rolling around town), you know most shops cringe at the thought of color-matching metallics. No problem for the DeSoto Collision, behind Sam's Club on Elmore Road in Southaven. I also noticed that even with a shop full of works-in-progress, the shop floor was spotless- not something you see every day.



Update for next visit: June, 2009, my girlfriend put a 10 foot long scratch (driving too close to a tree limb) down both doors and the entire bedside of my crew cab superduty. She called, pretty upset when it happened, so I had her drop it off with Kevin @ DeSoto Collision that same afternoon. The staff was great, buffed the long scratch out of the clearcoat same-day, and in the process, buffed out about 20 more scratches from previous years of offroad excursions. They delivered my truck when it was done- twice as clean, inside and out, as when they got it. Can't say enough about the professionalism; work was great quality, and price was fair. When's the last time you had a body shop do good work, on-time, at a fair price?
