Therapeutic ExerciseSelective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) ~ A series of 7 full-body movement tests designed to assess fundamental patterns of movement such as bending and squatting in those with known musculoskeletal pain. When the clinical assessment is initiated from the perspective of the movement pattern, the clinician has the opportunity to identify meaningful impairments that may be seemingly unrelated to the main musculoskeletal complaint, but contribute to the associated disability. This concept, known as Regional Interdependence, is the hallmark of the SFMA.The assessment guides the clinician to the most dysfunctional non-painful movement pattern, which is then assessed in detail. This approach is designed to complement the existing exam and serve as a model to efficiently integrate the concepts of posture, muscle balance and the fundamental patterns of movement into musculoskeletal practice. By addressing the most dysfunctional non-painful pattern, the application of targeted interventions (manual therapy and therapeutic exercise) is not adversely affected by pain. More information on www.SFMA.com.
Manipulation TherapyCertified Integrated Manual Therapy ~ As a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT), the practitioner identifies and assesses dysfunction from a whole body perspective. This allows the practitioner to “connect the dots” from the driver, or source of the pain, to the symptoms, using a unique manual therapy approach.

Craniosacral Massage$$60+Craniosacral work is a gentle hands-on way of restoring the body’s natural subtle rhythms. Health in the body expresses itself with subtle movement and fluidity. After physical or emotional trauma, this fluidity may be interrupted, leading to symptoms of pain or disharmony. By focusing on the central nervous system and re-establishing a free functioning of nerves, fluids, bones, and membranes, many conditions may be relieved. This work may be helpful for headaches, jaw problems, neck pain, as well as for low back pain, sciatica, and many other problems. This work is a hands-on therapy that gently reminds the bones and membranes of the head, spine, and pelvis of their optimal, natural position. This position supports the cranial nerves and central nervous system in doing their job of development and healing. Craniosacral work, now over 100 years old, is widely recognized as a fundamental health treatment.
Thai MassageGreta has been a practicing massage therapist for six years. Drawn to explore the healing arts, she learned a wide variety of techniques. She began her study at Ahern’s School of Massage Therapy taking every class they offered over the course of three years. She then studied at Spirit Winds School of Northern Style Thai Massage. Before ever experiencing the style myself, she was in class and in awe. She fell in love with the study of Thai Massage. This was indeed the whole therapeutic treatment she was looking for. Since that time, Greta has made Northern Style Thai Massage her main focus and specialty.
