Reflexology MassageThe reflexology group showed significant improvements at the end of the study period for scores of paresthesias, urinary symptoms and spasticity. Muscle strength scores for the reflexology group showed borderline improvement. The improvement in the intensity of paresthesia remained significant at the three-month follow-up. "It is of interest to note such positive effects of single intervention on a broad range of symptoms," state the study’s authors. "Further clinical and laboratory studies are needed to validate these results and to understand the mechanisms by which reflexology improves symptoms secondary to [multiple sclerosis]." - Source...
Face MassageTrained at the Sun Coast Center for Natural Health School of Massage Therapy in Tampa, Florida where she earned certification in Massage Therapy and Hydrotherapy in 1991. Her further training has been in Sports Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Aromatherapy, and Aron Mattes Stretching, and her specialty is Deep Tissue Sports Massage. Tiffany also offers a wonderful facial massage with Dermalogic products to cleanse, exfoliate, and tone. She also incorpoates specialized facial massage techniques rejuvenate, increase firmness, and Hot Stone Therapy. A stone massage uses stones to massage the body. Heated smooth, flat stones are placed on key points on the body. The massage therapist may also hold the stones and use them to massage certain areas of the body. The hardness of the stones allows the therapist to address specific problem areas with more detailed work or deeper pressure. The heat from the stones will relax muscles, increase the blood flow to the area being worked on which further accelerates the healing process. This increase in circulation and the relaxation of the muscles also aids in mental relaxation. The use of hot stones for healing dates back to ancient times, but the use of hot stones for massage caught on when Arizona massage therapist Mary Nelson introduced her hot stone massage technique, called LaStone Therapy.
Shiatsu Massage"This preliminary study raises the hypothesis that the use of specific shiatsu techniques on post-term women by midwives reduces the number of labors that need to be induced pharmacologically," the authors conclude.

Deep Tissue Massage$$95Arteriosclerosis – we’ll avoid localized massage around the carotid artery (may break loose plaque), and not use deep tissue work; please get doctor's approval before starting massage therapy.
Sports Massage$$85Have you noticed that when you go to a new massage therapist and request a Swedish or sports massage you’re never sure exactly what you’ll get? Why is that? Well, if 10 people signed up for an art class and each student painted the same picture, everyone’s rendition of the original would be a little (or a lot) different. Although all therapists are trained in the various modalities, they will each add their own uniqueness in the implementation of those techniques – just as an artist does when creating their work. Within the broad category of “Swedish” or “sports” massage, there’s a whole host of specific skills a therapist can employ. For most massage clients, the main concern is depth of pressure. Some like light, others like medium, and some enjoy deep work – whether it’s Swedish or sports or reflexology. For this reason, we have chosen to categorize our massages based on pressure rather than by technique. Why does deep pressure cost more than medium or light? Just as highly concentrated, professional strength products cost more, deep pressure massage costs more because the therapist must apply greater strength and work harder.
