It operates a fleet of more than 10 ambulances that are equipped with pulse oximeters, communication equipment and 12-lead diagnostic electrocardiograms. The company serves the Caddo Parish Commission and the city fire departments of Bossier and Shrevport. Its team of medical technicians is certified by the Louisiana Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. The company is also an approved Medicare and Medicaid provider for ambulance transportation. Its team specializes in the care and transportation of patients suffering from Alzheimer and terminal illness. Balentine Ambulance Service is a member of the Better Business Bureau, American Ambulance Association, Louisiana Ambulance Association, Shreveport Chamber of Commerce and Bossier City Chamber of Commerce.

He was committed to helping the residents in the Shreveport/Bossier Metroplex and has never strayed from the place he calls home. The employees today still follow in Mr. Balentine's footsteps by providing quality services for our patients. We treat each individual as if they were a member of our own family. With our highly-trained staff, we are capable of tailoring our services to meet each individual's specialized needs. Every employee of Balentine Ambulance Service/ Medical Transportation, Inc. undergoes a minimum of fifty hours of continuing education each year in order stay abreast of the ever-changing technologies in the medical field.
