        Color on fence doesn't match picture

        We decided to go with the "light brown" stain and used the pamphlet as a guide that we received from our fence company. This person has been doing it a while and seemed very knowledgeable. We were told it was going to be a "honey" color. Much to my surprise when I pulled up and saw a highlighter yellow fence. There wasn't a hint of brown in it. When you picture honey you picture a golden BROWN or when the stain color says brown in it you expect it to have a hint of brown. Not so much. It was fairly expensive but I went with this guy based on his longevity claims. Now I'm wishing I wasn't going to get so much life out of this color. I was hoping it'd fade a little bit. Hasn't yet. But definitely a lesson learned.
