08-17-11 Update, drove past the business around 4:15pm and saw new sign in window "Closed in August, Sorry". It appears something fishy is going on.

08-17-11: The sign in their window since end of July says they are open only Wednesdays in August (until 5pm). I called their ph # many times so far today/Wed & also last wk Wed, and there's never an answer and NO message-taking system. I drove to their shop last Wed around 4:15 (hurried out of work), and the store was closed. The same sign was posted "open Wed's in Aug". This is extremely disappointing. My suitcase has been there since the END OF JUNE for a handle replacement. I asked about the suitcase mid-July, in person while picking up nicely repaired sandals, and I was told the handle was on order. I understand it can take awhile for things like this. But being UNABLE to contact the shop seems ridiculous. I want my suitcase back for a trip later this month. Ugh.
