While there are often no noticeable symptoms involved with a urinary tract infection, when symptoms do present they can include a burning sensation while urinating, a strong urge to urinate, cloudy urine, urine accompanied by a strong odor, discomfort, and more. At QUC, we test for UTIs with a simple urine sample analysis. Treatment typically includes antibiotics, and occasionally analgesics will be prescribed to relieve discomfort.
