Founded in 1974, Friendship Village is a nonprofit continuing care retirement community that provides living facilities and health care services to adults of 60 and above. Friendship Village offers a range of living options, including residential living, assisted living and skilled nursing. Its assisted living facility offers a range of services and amenities, including dining area, and housekeeping and linen service. Skilled nursing services include assistance with dressing, grooming, bathing and toileting. Additionally, it offers various rehabilitative services that include physical, speech and occupational therapies. The organization provides care for residents with memory loss, Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Friendship Village is approved by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission, and is located in Schaumburg, Ill.
