        Top Notch Italian

        I have been coming to Anjons for years and have never had a bad meal. The staff, atmosphere, chefs and owner are all superb and friendly. As far as authentic Italian food, you'd have to visit Italy yourself. I highly recommend the Chicken Piccata.

        Anjon s Italian Restaurant is family-owned and started in 1957 and located on U.S. Route 1 in Scarborough, Maine. Named after Ann and John DiSanto, it is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. The menu offers a variety of food including antipasti, insalata, soups and stews, pollo, bistecca, pasta, vitello, wines and desserts. Its stuffed breads range from meatball, sausage, meat and cheese to broccoli and spinach. It offers a separate children s menu. The restaurant can also plan and organizes banquets. Anjon s also offers a line of marinara and tomato pasta sauces.
