Cold Spring Tavern

We love this place!! Hit it on Monday an hour before they stopped serving lunch and we practically had the place to our selves. Love the tri-tip sandwich. Always a must visit when we're en route to Los Olivos!

A must stop place if you are in the Santa Barbara area. Tucked away in the hills above St B, it is a throwback to the stagecoach era. Great recommendation for friends.

Don't miss stopping here when you are near Santa Barbara. It's a nice drive up Stagecoach road. Food and historical ambiance is great.

A very enjoyable experience in general. The inside and outside are like going back over 100 years. Situated in a very nice setting. (Try for a window seat if you can.)

They do need to treat the knat condition inside the restaurant, though. Their were quite a few of 'em. Detracts from the overall ambiance, which I'd actually give about 3 1/2 stars. Would rate about 4 1/2 if not for that. Really needs to be addressed somehow. (I.E. Maybe blue light bug zappers?)

Service was pleasant, but not the greatest.

Was told this was the most romantic restaurant in the whole state...I didn't see it. It's a neat location but the food was not great...I ordered a ny strip medium. It was overcooked so I sent it back & they brought me another overcooked steak but more charred this time. I ate one bite. The mashed potatoes were not good & neither was the asparagus. My husband didn't find anything great about his rabbit either. Sorry I wasted my time & money.
