San Mateo Prime

This place was delight full. The atmosphere in the place made a huge on the effect of my review I felt comfortable in the steakhouse knowing I could sip some wine lounge back and read a book. Or I could eat and stare into the flickering candle in the centre of the table. My server was friendly and knew exactly how to charm me with stories about his daughter. I recommend the felet of salmon. The steaks are delish and the creamed corn + mashed potatoes are absolutely delectable! I give this restaurant 5 stars round the table. This place is set for success

We ate here Friday, August 23, and had a really great dining experience. It was our first visit since tey opened. Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly. Their San Mateo Prime Rib, (16 oz), was fantastic...tasty, tender and trimmed of visible fat. My wife and I each had different side dishes, and all were quite good, especially the creamed spinach. Pacing of our meal was perfect, as was the attentiveness and service of our waiter, Andrew, who was quite helpful with our wine selections, too. We will definitely return.

Let me just start out by saying their food is delicious,their service is spectacular,and thier staff is very friendly. Except one gentlemen who i found to be a disgrace to the restaurant. He just didnt fit in. I found not only myself but other people around me very irritated with him. He was constantly in the way of the waiters or waitresses, he held on a discussion while my husband and I were trying to est and i really felt uncomfortable. Othere than that I would definitly reccomend this restaurant(watch out for the guy in the suit)
