Is Dr. Tina Au even a Physician? Worst experience of my life!

I was locked in the room from the inside and strapped to the bed.
Held me for 45 days as if I was a inmate in jail "I was better in 2-3 weeks."

I was not aloud to use the phone, they took everything that my family brought for me(coloring books, etc.)

I was over medicated and wet the bed one night they took all my bedding,
when my family arrived 2 days later they told my sister I was being punished for the accident.

Their is a lot more I could tell you although, I think you get the idea, everything I have said is the truth!! I have no idea why they treated me this way?
"Heed the warning!"

Thank you for taking the time to read my experience...

Overall
The Best Hospital I've Ever Been To

There are so many wonderful things I can say about San Mateo Medical Center. First of all, it is the cleanest hospital I've ever visited. The environment/structure is very pleasant too. From inside the Pre-admit office on 2nd floor, you can view the pretty courtyard with tables, chairs, fountain and trees, which is at the center of the 1st floor. Scheduling an appointment was never a problem, unlike in other health care facilities in San Francisco. I can get my needs attended to by the following week. The specialty clinic I go to provides disposable gowns, which I think is very hygienic. The staff is very kind. The nurses are very friendly, compassionate, and accepting. At the Short Stay Unit, I can tell that the nurses really know what they' re doing. They took me in on time, helped me relax in bed and prepare for my surgery. They reviewed my medical history again and administered prophylactic measures to ensure that there wouldn't be complications, such as nausea and respiratory distress, during and after the surgery. They were very nice to allow both of my parents to stay with me while waiting for my surgeon. My surgeon, Dr. Jegge, did a good excisional biopsy on me. He is very nice, and he tries his best to answer my questions. The anesthesiologist during my surgery was also friendly. He showed interest in the medications, including OTC supplements, that I've been taking. The nurses in the surgery unit always verified the important things such as allergy history. After my surgery, I woke up and found myself wearing a pretty fabric chest binder. A nurse was there the whole time to monitor my condition. He asked me how I was and immediately covered me with layers of blankets and applied a warming device when I told him I was shivering. He really observed for any sign of improved level of consciousness in order to find out if I was ready to leave. The staff calls me when they tell me that they will call me. They were the ones who took care of my appointment with another hospital that they are affiliated with for a special diagnostic test. They also initiated the preparation of my application for Medi-Cal when I needed it. Finally, the hospital has the WELL program to help the uninsured residents get access to all the services. I am very grateful to them for taking care of me and really listening to my health care needs. They make it possible to get access to quality care at low to no cost. I definitely would recommend San Mateo Medical Center.
