Tres chic e tres expensive. I love to come here with any friend in the wedding market:-) It's just gorgeous stuff. Amazing with details that are out of this world. If you have time to save up for your clothes and patience to wait, then do so and then come here. Magnifique.

Honestly, don't go anywhere else! I never expected to find my dream dress in San Mateo, but after being pretty disappointed by a couple places in SF, this place was a breath of fresh air and made shopping for a dress fun, as it should be! The two women who work at this shop, Chantal and Saida, are awesome and give great and honest advice! Even though I was on a budget, they were really nice, not at all snobby, and they let me look around. I tried on one dress that was pretty and then they suggested another dress for me to try on because they thought it would look good on me, and I absolutely loved it!!! If they hadn't suggested the dress, I might not have even thought to try this particular style on and that is why I am so glad we went here!! They know their stuff when it comes to dressing and accessorizing a bride!

This shop is for the fashion forward bride. The gowns here are anything but ordinary. The selection of feather and crystal head pieces are shipped from Europe, and are one of a kind. The sales associates are extremely knowledgeable and willing to work with you. I had so much fun at my appointment trying on such a variety of dresses.

I felt like Cinderella when she found her Fairy God Mother. Chantal and Said were full of enthusiasm and panache. They had a magical ability not only to see the unusual but also to help me experience the beauty of each dress I tried to the fullest. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Chantal and Saida were most receptive to the ideas I shared in terms of my atypical fashion sensibility. They were communicative, honest and encouraging and by the time the wedding arrived I felt like they were family... I even invited them to attend. My wedding took place in the South of France and the ladies remained extremely candid yet diplomatic in putting up with my 'ahem' colorful and unusual flair. Being French, they knew exactly what would work and wouldn't and yet they helped me find a dress that was both reflective of my personality and the type of reception I was going to hold.

I went here when I was searching for my wedding dress, and am glad I did. The decor in the store is beautiful, and all the dresses are displayed so you can actually see them vs. being shoved into a plastic bag. Although I did not end up buying my dress here (in part because of the small selection, mostly because of my budget), it was the best experience I had of all the places I went. Both Saida and Chantal were both very helpful and I felt like they completely understood what I was looking for.

I can't begin to express my gratitude with Chantal and Saida! Their expertise and help made my experience 100 times better! Aside from the beautiful couture gowns and accessories they have in this picture perfect boutique, they know how to make you feel like royalty. I visited many different bridal shops and none comes close to Nouvelle Vogue! I found the most beautiful Jenny Packham dress! I will, by far recommend this bridal boutique over and over again!

Wonderful place. Personal, intimate service. The Saida and Chantal will do everything they can to get you the dress of your dreams. They also have exquisite taste. I bought 2 dresses there since I had two bridal events. First one was a hand embroidered / beaded Jenny Packham that was just so amazing when it arrived. The other one was a floor length Cymbeline long sleeve lace dress that I saw on catalog at the last minute and had to have it for my first ceremonial event. It arrived within 2 weeks and alterations were perfect. If you prefer high end European designers such as Cymbeline, Jenny Packham, Sara Burton, then this is the perfect place.

I feel extremely lucky that my gown shopping experience turned out to be so great. I did go over my desired budget, but it was so worth it. I didn't want to take my beautiful Cymbeline gown off at the end of the night. I can't give enough props to Saida and Chantal for giving me a wonderful shopping and buying experience for my wedding gown. I also worked with the seamstress (I can't recall her name) the salon works with and she also did a fantastic job on my alterations. Both, Chantal and Saida, were there for the entire process. Thank you so much for making this whole experience so fun & exciting.

Not only is the bridal shop effortlessly elegant, but all everyone tells me that the experienced, knowledgeable owners are delightful to work with.. which I learned first hand. Their style expertise will definitely enhance your upscale shopping experience.

Saida and Chantal gave me the wedding dress experience I had always dreamed about. After going to a bigger "mega-wedding" store and being less than impressed by the selection and service, my sisters, mom and bridesmaids came with me to Nouvelle Vogue. I absolutely loved walking around the showroom and pulling the European couture dresses I wanted to try. Though wedding dress shopping can be challenging, I had such a fun experience there.

I had a great experience with Nouvelle Vogue. Their dresses are just spectacular! The staff was very very helpful in finding the right style for me.

Me and one of the bridesmaids was in San Mateo California visiting a few friends so we decided on visiting Nouvelle Vogue. We made prearrangements that day with them so they were ready for us to come in. They thanked us for coming in to the shop and began showing us their different lines of bridesmaid dresses. We found just the right one after a few moments of glancing around. The assistance was very well at the shop and they weren't pushy and they did not rush us. It ended up being a real nice place to go.

If you want a wedding dress unlike everyone else's, but in a good way, go to Nouvelle Vogue. Their dresses are incredible - well designed, beautifully beaded, well made, and worth the prices they charge (which start around $2500 and go up to $6000). However, I couldn't really personally justify spending so much so I gave up the most beautiful dress I found for a $750 one elsewhere. The Nouvelle Vogue dress was beautiful, too - just the right sort of 1930s inspired romantic beaded dress I was looking for. (It's a Jenny Packham in case you want to find the same.)

I spent a few hours with Chantal and Saida a few weeks ago in their beautiful salon. Being in the wedding industry, I thought I knew a lot about bridal gowns. After listening to them, I realized how little I knew. Talking with them, I learned that it is better to select the gown first and then choose the venue. I'm changing the advice that I give to my clients about securing the venue prior to selecting the gown. The gown will dictate the feel of the wedding. Not only do they offer one of a kind gowns, but they provide the ultimate in service. If you want excellent service and one of a kind bridal designs and accessories, I highly recommend Nouvelle Vogue.
