I love this place. It reminds me of the feasts my grandmother would cook up when I was a kid - huge dosas (lentil-rice crepe) with so many tasty stuffings, uthappam (rice flour pancake) stuffed with tomato, onion, or both, and great rasams and sambars (soups). Purely vegetarian and all of the specialties that a great south indian meal would include. It's not a romantic place, and you don't need reservations. The reason to come here is for the excellent food. The lunch buffet is also very good, and includes not only the buffet itself but either a masala dosa or uthappam. You can't beat the price or the quality.
