Institute of Medical Education

I studied Phlebotomy at IME in 2005 and was hired at Stanford Medical Center following my externship. I later returned to IME in 2007 for the Licensed Vocational Nursing Program. After passing my NCLEX, I am now at a nursing care facility in Cambell. I strongly believe that vocational education is what you make it. It is training that directly correlates to what you will be practicing in your career, so it is important to take advantage of your instructors and the resources they offer. IME is a small school, so instructors and directors are able to spend ample one on one time with their students as they need it.

Overall, I would recommend IME and nursing in particular.

I really like Dr. Truong. She is very interactive with her students, which is great for learning. This class is wonderful. Very organized and well planned.

Ms. Bond has really saved me a lot of time and frustration. She is very helpful and is the one teacher who will go above and beyond for her students. The school itself seems to be getting better as well. Organization seems to improve on a daily basis.

I enjoy coming here things are improving!!! Its a structured environment where students can learn. and they also have schedules that can accommodate to my daily schedule

Ever since my first day of orientation to the first day of class. Everything was great and seemed to go problem free for me. I was able to get a schedule that worked with my daily schedule and its been great so far.

I love the scheduling that the Institute of Medical Education has for the classes I need. I work a set schedule that I thought was going to be tough for me to balance out school and my job, but it worked out just fine. The Teachers I have had so far are great as well. Whenever I had an issue with something they would always listen to me and try to work things out.With great scheduling and great teachers I cannot ask for any more.

I have been going to The institute of Medical Education for a couple of months now and I have been more than pleased with my experiences so far. The teachers and staff have been doing a great job. I definitely recommend the Institute of Medical Education for those who want to get into the medical field.

Everyone I've come across since I started here has been so helpful. I looked into a few other schools before this one and just getting information was difficult. That's why I chose TIME, I wanted to be around caring, positive individuals.

I've always had trouble keeping focused in school. Tried university but it just wasn't for me. The instructors here are great. I don't get bored have a problem staying interested.

I have seen a lot of these types of schools on t.v. I'm glad I chose this school! Really nice environment, friendly people and caring teachers.

The staff here is so helpful and understanding with the students. If there is ever a problem they are really great at helping you resolve the issue. I am so grateful for everything they have done for me.

Ms. Bond does an amazing job teaching so everyone learns and understands. Looking forward to getting into clinicals. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher and I am learning a lot from her.

I like the way Ms. Bond teaches because she gives us good and useful material to study. I also like the way she incorporates videos into her teaching style as well. Every other teacher I've had thus far was helpful as well, but Ms. Bond's my favorite!

Ms. Bond is very helpful and her teaching style incorporates visual and other aids to help us understand the subject better, and her passion for the subject shows. Counseling and front desk staff are very welcoming and helpful.

I really like the way Mrs. Band teaches the class because she makes it easier for me to understand the lecture and for the financial aid department, they are mostly helpful. they help you when you need the help.

Dr. Truong was a welcome change, thank you for that. Her knowledge of Ultrasound Technology and her ability to teach are outstanding. She is a good instructor.

What stood out to me when touring the school was the immaculate condition of their facilities. Their facilities are pretty much brand new. As a current student, in the second semester, I would definitely recommend the Ultrasound Technologist program.

I am currently enrolled in their Dental Hygiene Program. I spent a decent amount of time researching Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting Programs in the bay area. One thing that stood out to me about IME is their cost of tuition and their ability to offer financial aid. Before enrolling with IME I looked into a couple other programs, mainly Western Career (or Carrington) and found that their tuition is $90,000. That's more than double IME's tuition. Also, most schools cant offer financial aid. Financial Aid covered a large chunk of my tuition fees. Even if you think you may not get financial aid, I would recommend at least setting up an appointment to speak with a financial aid counselor to see what you qualify for as you may be surprised.

Ms. Bond is very dedicated to making sure we understand phlebotomy. I am very fortunate to have an instructor like her, she goes out of her way to make sure that we understand what is being taught.
