        not up to par

        This hotel, other than it's location does not live up to par to its supposed four star rating. The valet service is bad and half the time there isn't even a valet around. I requested my car but it took them about an hour to find it. Bathrooms are extremely cramped, for once you go in you only have enough room to stand right in front of the sink because taking one step back means sitting right on the toilet. The air conditioning is so old that it makes very loud noises that takes at least two nights to adjust to if you're a light sleeper. The only perk I can think of is the Wi-Fi that's in the room and the lobby. Overall, I would not come back again unless it was paid by someone else and given to me as a gift.

        I love this place. One of my favorite places to stay when I am in San Francisco. Excellent location. Right on union square. The service is wonderful. The rooms are very nice. Be sure to ask for a room at the back of the hotel if you want it to be quiet. I love the afternoon wine tasting.
