        Tucked away amidst the freeway overpass and a commercial district, Food Co in San Francisco is a find. It caters mostly to the neighborhoods of SoMa and the Mission, and stock lots of mexi-ethnic foods. They run a great weekly ad and a no frills shopping enviroment. Still, the prices are hard to beat, and the produce is fresh and abundant. I shop here monthly, and its a gem in a city full of yuppy grocery shopping. A friend who recently experienced FoodCo with me was not only thrilled with the prices, but the locatiion as well. The parking can get a little tight, but that speaks to its popularity. Its like an indoor farmers market.
