Delgado, Miguel MD

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Miguel Delgado and his staff. The skin on my stomach had severe stretch marks, very loose, and there was excess skin around my entire waist – basically I had a “muffin topper” that no amount of exercise would get rid of. On March 21, 2013 I underwent a full tummy, waist enhancement, and liposuction of the flanks. I have to say my experience far exceeded my expectations! On our first visit we discussed my challenging medical history – diabetes, high blood pressure and asthma, and determined the next steps to ensure a safe surgery. During my pre-op appointment we went through how to prepare for surgery, what to expect during the surgery, and possible complications. I was very happy that Dr. Delgado had me prepare by starting a “Clinical Support Program” that includes vitamin supplements & homeopathic remedies, and he encouraged colon hydrotherapy. My surgery was a success!! I felt supported during the entire process. Dr. Delgado called once a day for a few days to see how I was doing, and I went in once a week for a few weeks for check ups. He was very response and attentive to my questions and concerns. For example I called once because my belly button was leaking and he responded quickly wanted to see me right away. Fortunately everything was fine and he checked in frequently to ensure the healing process was going well. Though the surgery itself was a physically uncomfortable healing process, it was made easier with the support of Dr. Delgado. In addition, I was quite surprised by my quick recovery and I know that it is due to the Dr. Delgado and his staff!! It’s been 5 months and I am EXTREMELY happy with my results!! I am 41 and I am excited to start the next chapter of my life  It’s never to late to feel healthy and beautiful!

Dr Delgado is the best. I had my multiple surgeries (all at the same time) about seven years ago. At the time I was working for Marin General Hospital and I chose his office and staff because I had seen his results plus the anesthesia and care they give. Since I retired from the Hospital, I love working with the doctors and staff in Delgado's office. My fun job; it's more personal and individualized to each patient and the staff is thorough and consciences. My husband thinks I'm a nut, it's addictive, and one of these days I expect to have another little something done.

Dr. Delgado is warm, caring and listens to your concerns. He is honest about the patients expectations. He is outstanding in his field and I would definitely refer any and all friends and family members and in future would be a returning patient.

Dr. Delgado has an amazing touch and personality. The minute he comes in he isn’t afraid to shake your hand and get to know who YOU are. He doesn’t push procedures on you that you don’t need. I was talking to another patient and she loved how he was honest with her about her choice of implant size. I know I will feel just as comfortable having him replace my implants when the time is right.



His office is extremely warm and inviting. I think at this point I have done it all there. I have had Botox, Dysport, Microdermabrasion and even a Gloss Peel (by their amazing Esthetician Alise). I have also been doing a series of laser treatments there to remove my birthmark. This has been life changing for me. My whole life I was made fun of for my birthmark and now after the series of treatments it is barely visible. My husband and daughter have noticed I’m not afraid to wear sleeveless shirts anymore to mask it.



I always love going to Dr. Delgado’s office; they feel like family. It is such a nice office but they aren’t all uptight like some places you can find in Marin County. I love that they talk to you and become your friend. I recommend them to all of my friends and even my husbands business associates. It was also a nice bonus to get sent home with a bottle of wine. Thanks Dr. D and your whole staff!!!

My sister who is 3 1/2 years older than me went to Dr. Delgado and had a facelift. The good news is that she told me how painless the procedure was and for the first time ever the anesthesia did not make her sick. She healed quickly. Now for the bad news, she looks fantastic! Now I am the older sister. We have been competitive since we were kids, and this just won't do. The most amazing thing about her is that she looks exactly as she did 10 years ago or more, and I am her sister so I should know. Worrying about not having a natural result, if I have the surgery, was never an issue for me. Seriously though, I am happy she went first since we look a lot a like. I had a good idea what my outcome would be and couldn't wait to have my consultation with Dr. Delgado. The consultation was a great experience. I could tell I was in good hands the moment Dr. Delgado walked into the room. He has a very warm personality and I immediately relaxed. As he talked to me, I could tell by his recommendations, I could tell I was in good hands. Right before my 60th birthday I had my surgery. The whole experience was amazing, Dr. Delgado's whole staff are so professional and friendly, you can tell they all like working together and their goal is the patient's comfort. I am so happy with my result, I am not sure that I look younger than my sister(maybe just a little), we are both very happy and that is the most important thing. One last comment, I do a lot of international traveling and recently when I was returning to the United States, the immigration officer looked at my passport and then looked at me, then back to my passport and after doing this a couple of times I was starting to get nervous until he said, "Wow, we are the same age, you look fantastic!".
