I found this gallery just walking along Valencia. In the window I had spotted a beautiful piece, a box made from salvaged wood, so I walked in. In short, that was it. I found an artist whose work I love. I bought that piece. I went to their next First Friday Art Opening and met some of the talented artists in person. I bought two more pieces. Another thing is that the art here is - affordable, accessible for young and not rich art appreciators. Also, it is a Co-op, so the artists rotate working in the gallery, and you get to meet an artist every time you stop in. I love City Art! It is a great place to go.
