Fillings
Fillings no longer have to be dark and unnatural looking. In fact, we don’t even placed amalgam fillings anymore at Padre Dental. Composite filling material is the natural color of teeth and looks extremely realistic. Composite resins are strong because they actually chemically bond to the tooth structure, providing further support to the tooth. The fillings also require less tooth structure to be removed. It also results in fewer fractures in teeth compared to teeth with silver fillings. They can be long lasting with proper care and maintenance.

Veneers
Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made shells of tooth colored material that bond to the front of your teeth. Veneers are excellent in correcting problems such as gaps, chips, stains, crooked and cracked teeth. Veneers can change the color, shape, size and length of your own teeth. They provide a natural tooth appearance and are very resistant to stain. They typically last between 5-10 years before they need to be replaced. There are definitely some disadvantages to veneers too such as fractured veneers can’t be repaired, it is an irreversible procedure and they can pop off. We are happy to discuss your case and to see if you are a good candidate for veneers. In as short as two visits, you can have beautiful straight, white teeth that you’ve always wanted!

Bridges
Dental Bonding
This is a fast and effective way to repair minor problems with teeth. Bonding provides exceptional results in just one office visit. Tooth colored resin material is placed onto the tooth, sculpted, light cured to harden then polished. Bonding is virtually undetectable, but conserves tooth structure and is most often reversible. Lots of times anesthetic is NOT needed for these procedures and also many times insurance will pay for a portion of the filling. We’d be happy to discuss your options with you at a future visit with Padre Dental.

Root Canal Treatment
What is a root canal? A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected.

Deep Cleaning
Treatment for periodontal disease can reduce the bacteria causing your infection, shrink the size of your periodontal pockets and stop the infection from spreading or getting worse. Treatment typically involves scaling and root planning (SRP). This removes the plaque, tartar and stains from teeth surfaces. Then the second part involves killing the bacteria.

What are dental implants? They are a replacement for your missing tooth root. It is the next best thing to your own natural tooth. Implants provide an excellent option for restoring missing teeth. Replacing anywhere from one tooth to an entire mouth, implants provide a titanium root to place a crown, bridge, partial or denture on top. Tooth Extractions
Implants are very successful with a success rate of up to 98%. In most cases, if you are healthy enough to undergo a routine dental extraction then you can consider a dental implant. You need to have healthy gums and bone and committed to good oral hygiene. Heavy smokers, people suffering from uncontrolled diabetes or heart disease, or patients who had radiation therapy to the head/neck area may not be good candidates.

Orthodontics
Invisalign Orthodontics
An Invisalign-trained dentist will utilize 3D computer imaging technology to demonstrate the complete treatment plan from the initial position to the final desired position. This imaging technology is then used to design an individualized series of custom-made aligners. The patient wears the aligner for about two weeks while the teeth move incrementally. After two weeks, the current aligner is replaced with the next one until the final position is achieved.
Braces
Cost is always a concern, and only your doctor can determine the price of treatment. It is typically in the same range as ordinary metal braces, ranging from $3,000 to $5,000 or more, depending on the requirements of your case.
