        Dr. Suresh completed his residency training at the University of California, San Francisco. He then worked as a private practice anesthesiologist at Alta Bates Summit Hospital where he was a partner in the East Bay Anesthesia Medical Group. While there, he specialized in acute pain management, regional anesthesia for orthopedic surgery and high risk obstetric anesthesia.He joined the faculty at UC San Diego in 2008 where he has served on the obstetric anesthesia and regional anesthesia teaching service. He also serves as the Associate Education Director for the department of Anesthesia.
