        I have no idea how the star ra...

        I have no idea how the star rating for a hotel or resort is calculated, but shirly this one deserves more than three stars!

        Porto Vista has the feel of a four star hotel and only costs the price of a three star. The Hotel has an excellent restaurant, lounge, spa, and even a hair salon. Despite the large well furnished rooms, the best thing about this hotel has got to be the location. It is located In central San Diego. Near the airport, convention center, and the opera house (I recommend the opera house).

        Parking is available on site. The website states that parking is limited, but perhaps we just got lucky, because we had no problem.

        We our thinking about renting the Porto Vista's conference center for our next family reunion.

        Porto Vista Hotel and Suites is a great facility. I highly reccomend it and will absolutely stay there again.
