Ocean Beach Antique Mall

I was harassed and received the worst customer service from the owner herself!! I believe her name is Theresa. This was the worst store I have ever been to. I am not the only one who feels this way!!! NEVER COMING BACK!

Talk about old! The Ocean Beach Antique Mall not only carries the largest selection of vintage gold and silver state and costume jewelry in San Diego, but it is also the oldest antique mall in Ocean Beach.



Owners, Nancy and Ken Freeman have over thirty years of experience in the antique business, and it certainly shows in the couples discriminating collections. They carry the largest selection of hollowware, gold and silver bowls, trays and candlesticks and also have the largest vintage clock collection in San Diego. This expansive antique mall features 12 other dealers whose featured items include tools, primitives, religious items, sports memorabilia, ivory and an extensive collection of contemporary handmade doll houses, and doll house accessories.



The Freemans were not always in the antique business. Ken, who used to work as a geography teacher, arbitrarily answered an ad to polish clock weights for a dealer. Through this initial connection he was able to learn the business, eventually become a dealer himself, and started his own antique shop in the heart of what now is the Gaslamp quarter across from The Old Spaghetti Factory. That’s where he met his future wife, Nancy, who was perusing his shop for a vintage find. Together they worked downtown until they moved in 2001 due to rising rent costs. They found their new home in O.B. and have been there ever since.
