- History Established in 1995 JB Tech Service began as a home business. All sorts of consumer electronics repairs were being done here. Stacked to the roof! .. cassette players, boom boxes, radio, TV and VCRs. Repaired a lamp for a customer once. More recently it's a Television repair service. Meet the Business Owner: JohnStarted professionally as the sole local employee of a game machine operator based in Anaheim CA. Designed a circuit adding airplanes to the Atari video game 'Tank' (remember that one?). It launched with an added fire button. For sure a fun time to be experimenting in electronics in those days before and during the advent of microprocessors. I was14 years employed as a production supervisor and manufacturing engineer at a San Diego company. That company closed down so I started JB Tech Service, a sole Proprietor, repairing your electronics person to person. A business operated simply, and with a high quality standard. It's my hope we will continue forward for years to come.

Reviews
John, of JB Tech services, strung me along for months promising to work up an estimate for the repair of my television. I needed the estimate to validate a warranty repair. After stringing me along for months, I begged him to get it to me before the warranty period expired. He stated that he was too busy and that I should try another shop. It will cost me $3K to replace this television and there is no recourse any longer with the manufacturer. Some customer service!

Sean R, I have reviewed all of our communications, all occurring between December 12, 2009 and January 15, 2010. You requested that I provide a written estimate for a TV 30 miles away that I have not seen. Should have declined at first chance. That's my error putting it off. Finally, I could not overcome my suspicion of your request or my possible liability as you stated you were going to present my estimate to your credit card company. I thought it best to ignore your request. As I understood, the filing window was still open with your credit card company when I closed the subject with the following email dated January 12th 2010: "Sorry Sean, I'm buried in tv repairs, many getting past due. I suggest you take the TV to a shop, but don't tell them up front you expect the TV to be a total loss. Who knows, the repair may work out better for you than the credit card route. Sorry I can't be of any more help with this. Regards, John"
I have spent months looking for someone to repair a Protron TV without any luck. I called John and within 2 weeks
he was able to fix the TV at a reasonable price. Thanks John
