BotoxNo matter how well skin is preserved and pampered, everyone eventually develops facial wrinkles. Fortunately, there are a number of options available to remove the lines that accompany aging. BOTOX® is perhaps the easiest of all these options. BOTOX® is an extremely quick approach to soften or remove the natural wrinkles between the eyes (frown lines), on the forehead, at the sides of the eyes (crow's feet), or at the base of the nose (glabellar frown lines). BOTOX® injections are customized for every patient, depending on his or her particular needs. BOTOX® injections may be performed as a singular procedure or as an adjunct to a surgical procedure.
Brow LiftThe forehead and eyebrow regions often show noticeable signs of aging. Looseness in these structures may cause drooping eyebrows, eyelid hooding, forehead furrows, and frown lines. In brow lift surgery, the muscles and the skin responsible for these problems are tightened or altered to smooth the forehead, raise the upper eyebrows, and improve frown lines. The result can be a more alert, rested, and youthful appearance. Recent advances in plastic surgery have made brow lift surgery a relatively simple procedure with results that last from 5 to 10 years or longer. Brow lift surgery is individualized for each patient and can be done in conjunction with other procedures such as a facelift, eyelid surgery, or nose reshaping.
Eyelid SurgeryFacelift, or rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure to improve visible signs of aging on the face and neck. As individuals age, the skin and muscles of the face region begin to lose tone. A facelift can improve the most visible signs of aging by smoothing the loose skin on your face and neck, tightening underlying tissues and removing excess fat. As a result, your face will appear firmer and fresher. A facelift can be performed alone, or in conjunction with other procedures, such as a brow lift, facial liposuction, eyelid surgery, or nasal surgery.
LiposuctionLiposuction is a surgical technique used to remove unwanted deposits of fat from specific areas of the body, including the face and neck, upper arms, trunk, abdomen, buttocks, hips and thighs, knees, calves, and ankles. The results of liposuction are a smoother and better proportioned body contour. Liposuction may be performed as a primary procedure for body contouring or may be combined with other surgical techniques such as facelift, abdominoplasty, or thigh lift procedures to tighten loose skin and supporting structures.
Breast AugmentationBreast augmentation is a surgical operation performed to increase the size and improve the shape of the breasts through the use of an implant for a number of reasons...
Breast ReductionWomen who have large breasts may experience a variety of problems from the weight and size of their breasts, such as back, neck, and shoulder pain, and skin irritation. Breast reduction surgery can be a tremendously life-enhancing option. Having the procedure will give you far more than just smaller, firmer breast. You’ll also get a significant relief from many physical and emotional discomforts, a new sense of freedom in your exercise and physical activity, and the ability to wear a greater variety of clothing styles. Breast reduction, also called reduction mammoplasty, is a procedure that removes excess breast tissue and skin, making your breasts more proportional to the rest of your body. The areola (the pigmented skin surrounding the nipple) may be reduced and repositioned as well. Of all the procedures that plastic surgeons perform, breast reduction ranks among the highest in patient satisfaction.
Breast LiftConditions that involve sagging of the breast or diminished skin tone (stretch marks) may require additional surgical procedures such as a breast lift.
RhinoplastySurgery of the nose (rhinoplasty) is a surgical procedure that can produce changes in the appearance, structure, and function of the nose. Rhinoplasty can reduce or increase the size of the nose, change the shape of the tip, narrow the width of the nostrils, or change the angle between the nose and the upper lip. This operation can help correct birth defects, nasal injuries, and help relieve some breathing problems. Rhinoplasty surgery is customized for each patient, depending on his or her needs, with the goal of creating a nose that fits your face and achieves a harmonious balance with your other facial features.
BlepharoplastyBlepharoplasty is a surgical procedure to remove excess skin and muscle from both the upper and lower eyelids. Blepharoplasty can improve drooping skin of the upper eyelids, minimize bags under the eyes and tighten the lower eyelid skin. The result is a more alert and rested appearance. Blepharoplasty surgery is customized for every patient, depending on his or her particular needs. It can be performed alone involving upper, lower or both eyelid regions, or in conjunction with other surgical procedures of the eye, face, brow, or nose. In some patients, who have looseness between the lower eyelid and the eyeball, consideration for tightening of the lower eyelid (canthoplasty/canthopexy) at the time of blepharoplasty may be recommended.
AbdominoplastyAbdominoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to firm and smooth the abdomen. A healthy diet and regular abdominal workouts can sometimes do little to eliminate accumulations of excess fat and loose, sagging skin in the abdominal area. This cosmetic procedure removes excess skin and fatty tissue from the middle and lower abdomen and may also tighten the muscles of the abdominal wall. The result is a flatter tighter abdominal profile.
Scar RevisionScars-whether they're caused by accidents or by surgery- are unpredictable. The way a scar develops depends as much on how your body heals as it does on the original injury or on the surgeon's skills. Many variables can affect the severity of scarring, including the size and depth of the wound, the blood supply to the area, the thickness and color of your skin, and the direction of the scar. How much the appearance of a scar bothers you is, of course, a personal matter. While no scar can be removed completely, plastic surgeons can often improve the appearance of a scar, making it less obvious through the injection or application of certain steroid medications or through surgical procedures known as scar revisions.
Laser ResurfacingLaser resurfacing is performed using a beam of laser energy which vaporizes the upper layers of damaged skin at specific and controlled levels of penetration. It's clear that laser resurfacing may offer a number of advantages over other resurfacing methods: precision, little (if any) bleeding and less post-operative discomfort. However, laser resurfacing isn't for everyone. In some cases, an alternative skin resurfacing treatment, such as dermabrasion or chemical peel, may still be a better choice.
GynecomastiaGynecomastia is a medical term that comes from the Greek words for "woman-like breasts." Though this oddly named condition is rarely talked about, it's actually quite common. Gynecomastia affects an estimated 40 to 60 percent of men. It may affect only one breast or both. Though certain drugs and medical problems have been linked with male breast overdevelopment, there is no known cause in the vast majority of cases. For men who feel self-conscious about their appearance, breast reduction surgery can help. The procedure removes fat and or glandular tissue from the breast, and in extreme cases removes excess skin, resulting in a chest that is flatter, firmer, and better contoured.
DermabrasionDermabrasion may be the most appropriate option for patients with darker skin or for those who suffer from deeper imperfections. The procedure uses a high-speed, hand held rotary wheel to remove the top layers of skin. Dr. Handler will advise you which procedure is meant for you.

Chemical PeelsA chemical peel is a procedure that uses a chemical solution to peel away wrinkled, blemished, unevenly pigmented, or sun damaged facial skin. The procedure is non-invasive and poses little risk. The result is softer, smoother, and more youthful looking skin.
