Allen Davis Moving Systems Local & Long Distance

AS CRAZY AS THIS MAY SOUND...BUT Alllen Davis hires piss smelly street help. Strong stench!. EWW. VILE THING is Davis  blamed MY CAT. Sorry Davis. But me cat is CLEANER THAN YOUR DIRTY WORKERS. They and Davis also broke,hid, and discarded my 2 gold mirrors. Mr. Davis told the BBB after he drove away that he "discarded them." WTH??? I thought he stole them. Same outcome. Duh??

Second, one of his workers stank of powerful urine. Needed a soap bath real BAD. Dirty van. Found cockroaches crawling out of my boxes at destination. YECK! See pic.

Filed lawsuit to get some reparations from Davis. Met him in court. His face turned beet RED. Stuttered to judge. 

AVOID AND BOYCOTT Allen Davis like HERPES.TOTALLY SHADY. STEALS AND DAMAGES YOUR POSSESSIONS. LIES over phone, sweet talks you. But breaks promises.  Backstabbing you later. Find ANOTHER MOVER. Plenty GOOD ONES in San Diego. Just look elsewhere. Save yourself headaches and gray hair.

This review is late in coming but needs to be done. Allen Davis and his team moved me from San Diego to Monterey Ca. the end of Dec 2016 as I had sold my home. They were fast, proficient, friendly, and the best moving experience I have ever had. All my stuff got there without a scratch on it. All that being said here's what set them miles apart for me from anyone else I could have used. To make a long story short, at the end of the day after the movers had left, keys were turned over to the realtor, my car key ended up being stolen by another outside person. Another story in itself. So there I was stranded with a packed car in the garage ready to go but quite unable to do so. My only option was to have my car towed to Honda and have another key made but being late in the day, that wasn't going to happen till the next day throwing off my whole schedule and sleeping in my car that night. I was also moving with my large dog. I called Allen out of desperation to see if he would be willing to locate and bring me my spare set of keys. When I packed I labeled boxes as to what room they went in, what was in the box, and numbered them so knew exactly what box my spare set was in. Without hesitation knowing the situation I was in, he went from his home to his storage facility, unloaded the truck till he found the box, dug out my spare keys and delivered them to me. Instead of being detained a whole day or possibly more and all the inconvenience that would cause, it only took him a few hours to do this. You can understand how grateful I was and how over the top this kind of service was viewed. I don't think too many, if any, movers would have done this. Yes, I of course cut him another check. Point is, consider no one else for your move. You will not be disappointed with this company. I cannot say enough good things about him and his crew. I would use them again in a heartbeat and don't need to even consider anyone else. Call him now!

Fast, efficient, courteous, caring and very understanding of the customers misery of packing and moving.
We've moved several times before and for the FIRST time we can say that nothing was scratched, dented, damaged or missing. Not even a smudge on the walls, floors, stairs or doors!!!

We can't begin to tell how pleased my husband and I are with Allen Davis Moving. We were moving from La Paz, Mexico to Washington. The Mexican moving van took over a week in customs, making the switch to our American moving company, Allen Davis, very difficult because we couldn't give Allen Davis a certain date for their move here. They were very patient, and when we were ready at the border, so was Allen Davis. We arrived here yesterday, after a six-day drive, and the next day their van was here. The three men were efficient, extremely friendly, and very helpful when we had to make some changes about where things were to go. I would recommend them with high praise!

I have used Allen Davis for my last 3 moves! Allen and his team are amazing. They are always on time, courteous and careful with my precious belongings. I recommended him to my best friend and she even had 3 flights of stairs they had to go up and down plus a piano! Nothing was even scratched. I am moving again in a couple of weeks and am glad I was able to book Allen Davis to help me once again.

Our property manager recommended Allen Davis. Days prior to our move from our house to put things into storage, we suffered a medical emergency. Allen was super cooperative in rescheduling, being on hold, and being sensitive to the chaos our family was in. And how they managed to get our household contents into our storage unit is beyond me.



I think you find the real strength of a business when things don't go 100% according to plan. A business that will work with you to get the job done is a business you want to work with.

Because of a landlords' divorce our family needed to move with little advance notice. An additional problem was that the move out date was a day earlier than the move in date for the new place. Allen Davis Moving Systems was willing to store our household goods overnight without extra charge. Also, because of the hurried nature of the move, we had not completed packing several items. Allen and his crew assisted us in this process. I would call Allen again if needed.
