Resourceful real estate agent made a decision In a bad econonimy to turn his office into a restaurant. The career change worked out -- this place is a hit.

The menu is straight-up pub food. Burgers, fries, beer. The food is well made and portions are generous. Prices are moderate. Expect to spend $10 pp for food and $6 per drink. Good selection of beers on tap and in bottles. Full bar and 3 or so bartenders to mix your favorite.

The crowd is mostly locals - singles and families depending on the hour. Hard rock is the theme when music is on. Can be a little rough around the edges but people are friendly enough.

The indoor area is a converted garage that opens up during warm weather. Outdoor seating around gas firepits. TVs abound, inside and out. You should definitely come here to catch a game. Bocce court can be reserved - nice option for some entertainment during cocktails or after dinner. The only thing taking this great new place down from 5 stars is the location. It's right on busy El Camino Real on the border btw San Carlos and Redwood City. It can be loud and difficult to park because of this.
