I found an ad in the mail offering $6000 for any trade-in of a competitor's vehicle for a Kia. I called to get more information to be sure I could get this deal. I was told they would take my 94 dodge intrepid in any condition, even have it towed there and I would get $6000 toward a Soul. That is the only reason I drove all the way to San Bernardino from Lake Elsinore to try to get a new car. When I got down to talking about prices I was told they would only take my car for 6000 for an Optima and couldn't give me any better deal on the Soul. After repeatedly trying to leave and asking for my stuff back from them, and them repeatedly coming back with only slightly better deals, but nowhere near what I had come all that way for.

Finally I demanded my property back so I could leave. They gave me my key and the title to my car and I left in a hurry. Only after I arrived home did I realize THEY STILL HAD MY LICENSE. And after that bs I had to go through I was not about to drive all the way back and get it. It was already late at night.

I called back the next day and kindly asked our salesman, James Eckpo, to please mail my license back to me. He kindly agreed and an entire week passed with no sign of my license. Then, I receive a call from Mr. Eckpo informing me that he just found my license in his desk and that he did not know that he had it. I told him that he had already promised to mail it back to me, but he continued to ensure me that he never said any such thing, but that he would mail it out as soon as possible. Even though I was frustrated learning that i would take another few days to get to me I thanked him and ended the call. That was three weeks ago. Every time I call he just seems to never be there. I did get ahold of his partner at one point who said he had seen my license and thought James would have sent it out by now but still no sign. I still have no license.

They lied to me to get me all the way down there and continue to play around with me and I highly recommend not using this dealership.

I was a little reluctant to go to the San Bernardino Auto Center but I am happy I did. Allstar Kia doesnt even have the signs up yet but they are open and selling cars! I was in and out in my new Forte in less than two hours, that NEVER happens! Thank you Allstar, your team is worthy of your name ;)
