  • Wok Inn -- good food, SLOW delivery
    by  on 06/22/2011

I love the original Wok Inn, but I order from this one since I live near. I usually enjoy the food, but man, is the service slow at this location! It's like they don't have enough delivery persons, and more than once (or twice) my order has missing items. I always hope, ""this time nothing will go wrong"" and it's really iffy. I just called actually to make sure my order went though, and I've been waiting 20 min. and the person said it'd be another 30 min. Really?! They should at least call to let you know, but it seems like no one knows what they are doing in there, and they can't talk to you like an adult. Usually, the person on the phone just mumbles. I might have to just stick to the original Wok Inn.

  • Bad food...quick service
    by  on 12/19/2010

I'm recently new to the area and rarely eat fast food. It's a lazy Sunday and neither I nor my brother felt like getting up and cooking or going out. We placed an order that got to the house quickly, but the order was completely wrong. The food arrived here quickly, but when I opened the bag I noticed the order was wrong. Not only was the order jacked up, but I never received sweet and sour chicken without the sweet and sour sauce on the chicken and then the overall food was less than satisfying. I will be going elsewhere for Chinese when I crave it. Oh! /they don't have egg fu yung either!

I made my weekly run to Wok Inn, taking orders from peers. When filling beverages, another customer touched a dispenser marked 'broken'. Liquid spewed from in and got on my blouse (first time I've worn it). I thought it would dry on to discover hours later that is was a syrupy substance and had stained my blouse. I called and asked for the manager who told me that they were unwilling to take any responsibility for my blouse because another customer did it rather than a staff person. I was disappointed as I cannot and will not condone this type of lack customer focus from any establishment where I am a loyal customer. I asked if spending $5.00 was worth losing a customer and the manager said "" it's not our fault"". While I have enjoyed the food, I DISLIKE MANAGEMENT'S ATTITUDE - DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE IN A SERVICE POSITION WHERE YOU GIVE HIGH CALIBER CUSTOMER SERVICE PATRONIZE WOK INN - THE MANAGEMENT ISN'T ACCOUNTABLE AND DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!

I like this even better than the original location (which I also highly recommend). I love the soup bar and everything I've tried on the menu so far, my favorites are orange beef, kung pao chicken and the lo mein. I think this is a great updated version of the original and would highly recommend it to everyone!
