The spa itself is beautiful. The management on the other hand is not. We saw the nice amenities (sauna, hot tub). But wasn't told in advance so we could make use of this. We received a facial and standard pedicure and was charged $170.00. The facial was basic. No neck, shoulders, arms massage; no peel; lasted about 35 minutes, yet $85. Basic pedicure was $75. When checking out, when I was told my total was $170, I asked "how much was the pedicure?" I was shocked at the total. She seemed put out that I would ask. Later I sent the manager Ann an email explaining my disappointment in the cost, based on the service. Here is her email response to me: Seriously, you come to a 5 star rated day spa, enjoy the robes and all the ameneties, receive fabulous services and all you can do is complain about the price? Facial massages are contraindicated after extractions, so we do a nice hand and arm massage to take its place. All of our clients rave about our facials. But no, not you. You embarrased your friend last night at check out with your rude behavior, my staff was appaled as was I. One does not build a word class day spa and charge strip mall prices, You however should go there, hope you dont get a fungal invection. Please do not come back to our spa, you are not welcome. Shame on you you cheap bully I've never been talked to this way by the manager of any establishment. Is this the treatment you would expect from an alleged "5 star" establishment? Dont worry Ann. I wouldn't step foot in your establishment again. You are hateful and rude. And I would be embarrassed to have so many ratings that state they have observed you being openly rude to your staff.

Where do I start? When I arrived the girl at the front desk took me on a tour around the spa. She was very friendly, and offered me water and snacks while I waited in a room that was gorgeous! My massage (can?t remember his name) was amazing, along with all of my other treatments. Ann and her partner are two amazing people, and you can tell they know and enjoy their career. This environment is beautiful, and nicely decorated with personal style. I am a very very busy person, and I never get any time for myself, these people made my stress melt away! I want to thank all of them again, and I can?t wait to come back! ?

I liked the whole idea of the spa. It was a very relaxing environment and the staff was friendly. However, my esthetician (who I think was the owner?) was a little pushy on trying to get me to upgrade my facial & I didn't appreciate that. Also, I felt like the esthetician was gone out of the room over 50% of the time. She kept going in & out. I think the worst part of the experience is not even being offered water once. Just because of that I'll never go back...

Whispering Waters is an absolute gem! The entire place is so beautiful and peaceful and very well laid out. My friend and I went in for massages and pedicures. We were greeted by Ann, the owner and Daisy, the dog. She gave us a tour of the entire place and offered us water - cucumber and regular. The locker room had big fluffy robes and slippers waiting for us. The pedicure room has really great chairs and there is a balcony off of the room that my friend and I sat out on while our toes dried. The massage (given by Lionel) was absolutely the best massage I've ever had. I can't say enough about Lionel. He was amazing. The table was dressed with the softest sheets and down. So comfy and relaxing. The room had a fireplace which made it even more cozier. There are chairs and chaise lounges throughout the spa where you can sit and relax. While waiting for our cab we talked with the owner Ann. What a nice person who really put a lot of thought into her business. If you find yourself in San Antonio, do yourself a favor and book an appointment at this spa.

This spa is fabulous! I was relaxed from the minute I walked in. I was early and I waited in the most relaxing room, I should have gotten there even earlier to take advantage of that moment. Ann, the owner gave me my facial, and it was wonderful. I could actually see my face brighter and healthier afterwards. I want to go back and have a package for my anniversary!

I love this place! It is beautiful and the pampering ohlala!...My friends know I'm the spa diva, so when they ask me where I go, I always say If you want to feel like a princess (or a prince) for a day the place to go is Whispering Waters Day Spa. My first experience was 10 years ago- for my 40th birthday (when it was @ the Wurzbach location)...today I went back to celebrate my 50th birthday (at the Huebner location). That should tell you something right there! If you like TLC, you will like Ann and her staff.

i can say the place is beautiful.but i can assure you huge flaws. i was pretty positive i received a massage from a non licensed massage therapist. i saw no license. it is really expensive and products are over priced. i herd the owner yelling at her employees.not very professional! if you like uptight places that is your spot.if not your better off else where. i gave this place a try because a friend told me it was nice.maybe everyone has there own opinion. it was slow there when i went and my friend said the same thing.you would think it was busy how the owner went on about her nonsense. all i can say is i was not a great experience. and bless the ladys that work there from what i saw. and now i hear that the owner does not have a good reputation.as so she thinks so. hope this helps.

This is the best spa I have had the pleasure to visit (and I have been to plenty of the trendy Houston spas throughout the last 10 years). The owner and staff are very helpful and know what they are doing. The layout and decor are fabulous. I have been going here for about a year and have enjoyed every visit. The whirlpool is the best place to relax before your services are done. And the Quiet Room is a great place to read or rest afterwards. \r \r I started using their products about 3 months ago and have seen a difference in my skin already. I look forward to my facewash every morning. I highly recommend this place for yourself or a gift for somebody else. This is also a great place for a girls day or weekend!

My first visit to Whispering Waters was like I was on a secluded island. There was so much serenity I could have stayed there all day....literally. For those couple of hours I was there, all of my burdens went away. It was a wonderful experience. I've been recommending Whispering Waters to everyone I know.
