Dental ImplantsThe root implant—by far, the most popular—is the most effective because it mirrors the size and shape of a patient’s natural tooth. This implant is often as strong as the patient’s original tooth. The implant or artificial root is placed into the jawbone under local anesthesia, then allowed to heal and integrate with the bone. Once the healing process is completed and the jawbone is attached to the implant, the patient returns to the dental office where the implant is fitted with the new tooth. This process generally takes anywhere from three to eight months.
BridgesFixed bridge- this is the most popular and consists of a filler tooth that is attached to two crowns, which fit over the existing teeth and hold the bridge in place.
Dental BondingOften used to improve the appearance of your teeth and enhance your smile. As the name indicates, composite material, either a plastic or resin, is bonded to an existing tooth. Unlike veneers or crowns, composite bonding removes little, if any, of the original tooth.
Resin CompositeComposite resins come in many different shades and provide better matching of shades to the natural color of your teeth.
VeneersA. Porcelain veneers are designed to look like your natural teeth and are individually and permanently attached to the fronts of your existing teeth. Bonding utilizes a composite material made of plastic to fill in areas of your teeth and correct chipping and shape problems. Both porcelain veneers and bonding are color-matched to the rest of your teeth.
CrownsA crown is a permanent covering that fits over an original tooth that has been severely damaged by decayed or trauma. Crowns are made of a variety of different materials such as all porcelain, porcelain to gold, porcelain to a non-precious alloy or completely gold or alloy metals. Modern Porcelain Crowns have the most natural appearance and are preferred by many patients. Depending on the strenght and angle of the patient's bite some durablity issues may need to be considered.
Root Canal TreatmentA root canal is a procedure that extracts decayed pulp from the central part of the tooth, reshapes the canal and replaces it with strengthening filler.
DenturesYou and your staff have been so patient with me, allowing me to make the decision to go to a partial denture when I was ready and helping me get to that point. Words cannot express how happy I am with the work you have done...I can now eat like a regular person!!!! anything I want!!!! This is unbelievable!!! I could not be more pleased.
Tooth WhiteningYour teeth will darken over time. Changes in the color of your teeth can be caused by such factors as the food and beverages consumed (like coffee, tea and soda). Other known factors for discoloration may include childhood medications or illnesses, tobacco use or improper oral hygiene. Restoring your natural white smile is a priority for our dental whitening team. We can provide a variety of options for whitening your smile.

Dental SealantsAsking your hygienist or dentist about sealant applications to protect your child’s teeth-chewing surfaces and about bottle tooth decay, which occurs when teeth are frequently exposed to sugared liquids.
Dental ExaminationA normal New Patient exam and cleaning appointment will take approximately 1 1/2 hours. Dr. Styles will do a comprehensive exam, take a full set of x-rays, and you will receive a teeth cleaning or full mouth debridement dependent on your situation.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Oral SurgeryA. One of our staff members will compile your medical and dental history during your first visit. We will then examine your teeth and gums, screen you for oral cancer, make X-rays of your teeth as needed and complete a TMJ (temporomandibular or jaw joint) exam. After we review your dental profile, we will discuss a diagnosis with you. If treatment such as a root canal (endodontics), braces (orthodontics) or oral surgery is needed, we will plan to treat you in our office or refer you to a specialist. We will discuss your options for treatment and fee payment and help you determine the best plan to fit your needs.
