Pediatric Care
A passive positional procedure that places the body in a position of greatest comfort, thereby relieving pain by reduction and arrest of inappropriate proprioceptor activity that maintains somatic dysfunction. It can assist in the treatment of acute and chronic pain, post-op pain, and neurological pain. It can be safely used on all age groups and populations including pediatrics, pregnancy, and geriatrics.

Pregnancy

Ultrasound
Therapy that is the use of sound waves above the range of human hearing to treat injuries like muscle strains or runnerâ€™s knee. This particular therapy has had great strides in musculoskeletal medicine since the 1950s.

Orthopedics
We now have two convenient locations, one in Alamo Heights and one in Alamo Ranch, in order to better serve our patients. We provide high-level, hands-on physical therapy including orthopedics, sports medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics and therapist-guided exercise programs.

Physical Therapists

Sports Medicine
Steve Stratton graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in Physical Education (pre-Physical Therapy) in 1974, he earned a Masters in Physical Therapy from the US Army-Baylor University Masters Physical Therapy program in 1976, completed Athletic Trainerâ€™s certification in 1982, and graduated with a Ph.D. in adaptive physical education and exercise physiology from Brigham Young University in 1981. Steve has devoted his career in manual orthopedic physical therapy and sports medicine care with a specialization in spinal rehabilitation.
Physical Therapy
Kenny attended the United States Air Force Academy on a full athletic scholarship in 1999. He transferred to Texas Tech University in 2000 where he majored in Exercise and Sports Science, with a minor in Biology. He then went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2008. Stratton Strong since 2010.
Manual Therapy
Using an osteopathic approach that emphasizes the interrelationships between structure and function of the body through the use of manual and manipulative therapy. In conjunction with the osteopathic approach, Norwegian and Australian mobilization techniques, New Zealand mobilization with movement approaches, and myofascial release, and various specific chiropractic techniques are utilized as well.
