This is Erica with Soul Fighters Texas Mixed Martial Arts Academy. I hope you are having a fantastic day! I am so sorry to hear that you will not be able to continue training with us. Our cancellation policy states that in order to cancel your contract you must pay a cancellation fee of 33% of your remaining balance. This BBJ school supposedly offers 30 Free Days, but will pressure the individual from the moment you try the school to sign into a contract that is worse then a REAL gym. Let me describe the school: They have limited hours, limited instructors, NO 1 on 1 training, you will be a classroom type setting with people around the same skill set doing most of the after minimal professional instruction do most your tutoring. I did not see the health benefits as such, and the classes are not offered or catered to most people's work schedules. I asked to work out in the AM but was told that's for advanced members strictly, which only left the evenings which are limited as well. Erica, who originally signed me up, gave me a uniform new and it didn't even have a belt to go with it! I had to scrounge through their back area for such! I did learn a few new techniques, and they often in my short time there were either sending ONLY emails to notify of "No Class" or didn't offer such as desired. Very "Unprofessional" group of trainers. I've trained at another schools and institutes, and never have I been more disappointed or non-encouraged with such circumstances. Mind you these people are also NOT CHEAP to train with, and did not seem physically in shape. I want to recommend ALL ONLY take the 30 free days trial, and stay MONTH-2-MONTH as you can see from above, I will be forced to buyout of this VERY expensive contract. Never once as well I want all to note, did Erica or anyone from the school of Soul Fighters Texas, send me an email, text, or phone call to verify why I had not been around to train, which is not their fault, but it would of shown concern, and made the wound of not being able to train [Job left me unable to do such]. They obviously don't care about people, just money, and I can only tell you their are way better small MMA schools one can join, DO SO AND AVOID THIS SCAM!!!!!!!! Thank you, Kent C.

Let me just start off by saying that I have been to many gyms, and have always felt out of place, and uncomfortable, even at the so called family gyms I just felt as though they started everyone at a pace that I just wasn't up to par with. I am very out of shape with very low self esteem so going to the gym has always been an effort for me, but here it's not. I feel good about myself, they take the time to work with you and encourage you the whole way! The trainers take the time to learn your nAme and your strengths and actually cAre. When I first went in I was so nervous but Rebekah made me feel so comfortable, and welcome! I love going there and am now even starting to see results! I love going there and I couldn't be happier and my self esteem has gotten so much better, in fact I now have regular date nights with my husband because I'm not afraid of going out, and I owe that to Soul Fighters!!! Thank you!!

Hi, I'm Jordan Larsen and I started training at this gym when i was 22. I am now 24 and it has completely changed my life. I grew up in Dallas, Texas then moved to Kerrville, Texas at the age of 22 and wanted to explore new things in my life. I heard of brazilian jiu jitsu through watching UFC a popular show about fighting. I was thinking that i would like to try it out and so i did. I looked up places close to me and found Soul Fighters Texas online, i checked out there website and decided I would drop by for a visit and see what all the fuss is about. The moment I walked in the door i was greeted by very nice people, it gave me a sense of belonging and i knew i wanted to start my jiu jitsu career here! Now that I have been training 2 years I love it even more than the last! I have even met some of my closest friends from the gym and I couldn't be more happier with the training and environment that this gym provides! Please stop by check it out for yourself, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
