It all began in the close-knit community of Alamo Heights in San Antonio. Twenty-one years ago, a plastic surgeon–and idealist–found promise in an aesthetician and her skills. Their professional passion for skin care and patients was the foundation of Skin Rejuvenation Clinique, Inc. Tina Zillmann and her husband, Matthew began the business in a single room, where she pioneered her practice with the surgeon and offered treatments for post-surgical patients, burn victims and laser patients. In addition to post-procedural care, the demand of quality skin care treatments was widely prevalent in the San Antonio area with the common condition of melasma. At the time, doctors refused service to this condition because this was not a medical concern—ironically enough, neither was acne scarring. The impact that Skin Rejuvenation had on the San Antonio population quickly came to the media. Starting in 1992, the company was frequently featured in the local news with breakthrough treatments. From 1997 to present, Tina appeared as a regular feature on local talk shows and on news channels, providing tips and tricks to its viewers on skin care. In all its years, Skin Rejuvenation has become the go-to facility for the San Antonio population and it’s local celebrities. Thoroughly enjoying the advantages of entrepreneurship, Matt and Tina both believe strongly in the value of good service, quality products and strong employees.

Since it’s development in 1991, Skin Rejuvenation Clinique can be found in the heart of Alamo Heights, right behind the Trolley Stop and just off the street. We are located in a simplistic yet beautiful building with concrete pillars and modern design from the 1940’s art deco period. Its location is beautiful and discreet. This facility houses nine treatment rooms that cater to esthetic treatments and massage therapy. Soft warm colors and light arid music create an immediate flow of relaxation and helps the mind unwind from the bustle of the downtown city streets. Unlike the intimacy of the Alamo Heights location, the Skin Rejuvenation Salon and Spa is a spacious 3,500 square foot facility with sky-high ceilings, vaulting windows and Texas-Tuscan inspired architecture throughout. It boasts a warm color scheme and knotty pine cabinetry that together can be likened to the sweetness and warmth of peach cobbler – a Texas (re)treat! The Skin Rejuvenation Salon and Spa features five treatment rooms for skin care, massage and nail services and a full service salon. Maintaining the motto, “The Science of Skin Rejuvenation™,” the salon features specialized hair rejuvenation treatments to help remedy sun damaged, dry and color treated hair. The nail salon features hand and foot rejuvenation treatments including chemical peel services for a fresh and youthful appearance.
