Hofbrau & Beer Garden

We had a horrible evening at the Hofbrau in San Antonio on Jones Maltsberger Rd. The managers did not care about our complaint about the blowing fans above our heads outdoors. It was a beautiful evening but the fans froze us out. We asked that they be turned down and all we got from our waitress was that they were new and nobody knew how to turn them off or down. When someone finally turned the switch off from somewhere on them, the TV went off and all of the lights went out. I have never heard of a resaurant the did not know how to turn the fans off without the lights and TV going off. We never saw a manager. The poor waitress took all of the blunt end of the evening. It was NOT her fault. The food was fine but you would think a manager would have come to the table to explain what was going on. We were soooo cold and we had to stuff our food down to keep it warm. Miserable evening only because the manager never approached us at any time. We will not be back as far as I am concerned. The table next to us left without ordering, then the table to our left did the same and I'm sure they found a better venue to enjoy their Friday night meal. What a shame. Nice atmosphere but horrible management. Hope this gets to someone who cares. We had a table of 10 with gratuity added on. We paid it only because the waitress really tried to get help considering the blizzard fans that were all around us. I had never been to that Hofbrau and what a horrible experience we had. Take this into consideration if you decide to visit the Hofbrau at the Quarry in San Antonio, Texas.
