Dr. Lejeune is the newer veterinarian in the practice but she really knows her stuff. Our dog Tulip is going through urinary, kidney AND heart issues, (which can be complicated) and Dr.Legeune is so knowledgeable and has so much patience. She has gone above and beyond to keep us informed and to help our Tulip get better. I have complete confidence in her. We have personally delt with the new receptionist Heidi and vet tech Ashley who were super nice, good listeners, and well spoken reiterating doctors orders. I always feel kind of a guilty as a pet owner because we aren’t the best at picking up meds on time after they’re prescribed or we’ve had to push testing back due to waiting to get paid so we could afford it, and I try to ask a lot of questions to understand the big picture of what’s going on with Tulip, and everyone just handles me with grace and really goes the extra mile to answer my questions. I haven’t been made to feel pressure during any decision making and I feel respected as the dog’s owner. Through this whole ordeal we’ve also had Melissa, Malorie, Sarah, Sam and Amanda help us. I want to thank the whole staff at AHAH for making it as easy as possible to be seen during the pandemic and putting the protocols in place to keep them and their clients safe. Thank you guys. You are all awesome!

I would like to share my experience regarding Dr. Clint Powell and the Acorn Hill Animal Hospital. I met Dr. Powell previously as he took care of my dog Shrek. Shrek had numerous medical issues that caused many visits to see Dr. Powell. Through the many experiences with Dr. Powell I quickly realized that he was not your normal vet and cared for my dog as if it were his own. I was blown away by the compassion and empathy exhibited by Dr. Powell. An explanation I could understand accompanied all the medical decisions made by Dr. Powell which made me feel a vital part of my dogs care. I was informed that he would be opening his own clinic (Acorn Hill) at their current location. Even though this location was far from my house I told Dr. Powell that I would make the drive to keep Shrek under his care. Shortly after this I experienced the untimely death of my best friend (Shrek) at an extremely inopurtune time in my life. It took me awhile to get the heart to find another dog but I finally f

Very Happy. Dr. Powell and his staff did a great job with our dog's surgery. The staff was professional with me, and very sweet with our dog. Dr. Powell was very forthright about our options and went above and beyond to make sure everyone (our family and our dog) were okay after the procedure. I would highly recommend Dr. Powell and Acorn Hill Animal Hospital.

You are gone but will never be forgot. My family started seeing you in 1980 with Pebbles. I got my own animals, as well as my brother, while my parents had some others as well. You were always a GOD in my pet world. i found strays and you fixed them while i looked for a great home for them to live with. You lived through so many of my familes doggies going to sleep. i shed many of tears for my animals, but you will be a tear i cry everytime i have to take me Doggie to someone other then you. Rest in peace, and take care of the animals in heaven with you if you want to.

THE best prices in town...by far. Dr. Johnson and his staff are devoted to animals. They are all knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I have taken my pets to other vets and have been over charged ($600 for a nueter in Stone Oak area vs. just over $100 at Acorn HIll). Dr. Johnson's work and experience are excellent. He charges appropriate amounts for his good work, and he does not insist on unecessary tests and additional hidden costs. I can afford to keep my three pets up to date on all routine medical needs and I know that I have one of the best vets in town, too! You can't say that of many of the vet clinics on the north side of town.

Dr. Johnson is no nonsense. He is is quick, and thorough, reliable and has excellent rates. You won't find yourself paying for unnecessary services, but that does not mean you sacrifice great care for your animal.

Very caring doctor and staff with extremely great rates.

Dr Johnson has been our vet for more 12 years. He is very personable, extremely caring and gentle and knows more about veterinary medicine than most. He makes you and your pet feel like you're truly important to him because I think we are. My dogs love him! We've only had one emergency and although we knew our dog was in good hands with Dr. Johnson, we were still nervous. Dr Johnson put our fears to rest and kept us informed along the way. Surgery went great and cost a fraction of what the pet emergency clinc was going to charge. HIs staff is wonderful. It's not a fancy clinic but again he has a loyal following because he cares, he truly cares. I highly recommend him.
