Davette is friendly, honest, and does excellent work in a warm, non judgemental environment. Honestly, the person who complained, probably complains about a clear day,if given the chance. Davette is a professional, who truly loves her craft and it shows in her work. The atmosphere is relaxed and not only can you see examples of her work on her web page, but in some of the people that may stop by, as well as her books with extensive photos. This was my first time getting my hair braided in over 20 years. My braids are tiny, perfectly sized, and I received compliments on my first stop on the way home. I'm definately a client for life.

Davette is really gifted at what she does. She is my loctician of choice for a reason.

I was web surfing, looking for a potential braider for future reference, and called the salon. The individual who answered the phone answered my questions in a rather condescending and arrogant manner. No matter what a potential client says or asks, it is the merchant's responsibilty to convey respect and professionalism. A little note of advice to the salon, if reading this, some adults do not like to be called "dear", "sweeetie" and "baby doll." Will not give this place a second look.

Davette is a master at her craft. She uses natural products (such as shea butter and aloe vera) and my locs are looking wonderful! Plus, she creates a professional yet comfortable atmosphere in her hair studio. I'd highly recommend her to anyone thinking about growing locs or needing loc maintenance.
