Hill Country Inn Suites

My wife and i made a reservation one and a half weeks before we actually took our trip to San Antonio, Texas. We "has reserved" a smoking room. When we got there they stated that they never reserve smoking rooms just a room availabily. After we got there that evening we went to the hot tube. After we sat there a few minutes we noticed curly human hairs floating in the hot tube. We immediately got out and went to take a hot shower. The room looked nice but after awhile we noticed that we had bugs on the back bedroom wall. I killed a few of them and flushed them down the toliet. We also had an ice chest, but the ice machine was not working, the front office told me that they turned it off. The next day we purchased a couple steaks and cook them on the grill by the pool. It was about 6-7pm. As we got close to the grill, we noticed large water bugs actually eating on the grill top....This made us go to the room and pay to eat out. The kids who was running the office was playing and talked very rude to us..The floor by the bathroom was rotten as we had to walk around the hole in the floor under the carpet. The room we stayed in was #289.

We stayed here with our grandsons. It was great. There's a playground and sandbox, along with pool and outdoor gazebo. All the guests seemed to congregate there in the evenings. There were barbecue pits for guest use. The kids all played together until they were worn out. We could go to the local grocery store to get stuff rather than eating out all the time. The staff was very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
