As l entered the Ellison Drive pet hospital, both ladies at the desk were attentive and kind and displayed keen customer service skills. Kelli assisted me directly. She was so helpful and answered all my questions. She explained the company phone issues they were having which l thought was just a "l don't want to be bothered by customers issue". As a result, l will definitely return my boarding needs to Ellison Drive. Thank you Kelli!!

I feel everyone can learn from a review negative or positive. Once in awhile you read something that is completely off base however. In the case of the review dated 5/26/2009 "Wouldn't you want to know" it was spelled misspelled "Woldnt" I feel it necessary to respond. I am the current office manager at Ellison Drive Animal Hospital and I have felt very proud of the ethics, professionalism and manner in which Dr. Lori Curd and Relief Doctors and the entire staff treat their clients and patients. I have found us to go beyond the call of duty when it comes to trying to prepare for the difficult part of treatment for their pets, that being the financial part. We prepare estimates and do our very best to tell them everything that can be eliminated if needed, starting with the best course of treatment first, then reduce by the client's availability or limitations of funds. We offer care credit, we prioritize and make every effort to do what is best for the client and their pet.
It is important to write this so that potential customers reading this will understand the source. I looked back at the date and the pet's name and it coincides with emotional termination of a prior employee. We realize that this was posted many months ago and unfortunately was just brought to my attention. FYI: We have asked that the person involved be notified through the "report abuse" option on the posting. We have ask her to do the right thing and remove the review. We really hope that you will take the time to come in and find out for yourself. Dr. Curd is passionate about helping you to take care of your pet and provide the best possible care.

Couldn't' be more pleased with this vet! Took my Callie girl there for her first visit and they were so sweet with her, like she was their own pet! Callie is a pretty nervous pitbull mix and she was all smiles when she came back in the room. During our first visit we got the Canine Annual Package and did a Junior Bloodwork - since I adopted her and wanted to make sure she was healthy inside and out, which came with an exam! Dr. Curd, the owner, was VERY knowledgeable and caring! She was able to give me an EXACT estimate for spaying Callie, and we were able to schedule for the next week! I was so worried when Callie went in for her spay, they took the time to call me after her surgery to let me know she was okay! "She was perfect Mom!" Because of Ellison Drive Animal Hospital, my Callie girl is healthy, heartworm free, flea free, and I know that her visits to the vet won't be painful. Dr. Curd and her staff really know what they are doing! If you haven't been there before, mention my name and I will get $10 off my bill the next time I come in. Plus, for all new clients, you get $25 off your first exam with the Doctor! What a deal!

Great staff! Charlie is a puppy and when he came in for his first set of shots the staff made his experience great! Who would have thought that peanut butter would keep a puppy still?? Charlie got his puppy pack and received a free bag of puppy food along with nexgard (fleas and ticks monthly chew) and heartgard (heartworm monthly chew)! Dr. Curd really knows what she is talking about. During our last visit, his 4th booster, they made an estimate for his neuter and microchip, and we have it scheduled in the books! I wouldn't want my little buddy under the knife with anyone else. We also boarded Charlie during the weekend, my girlfriend approved of him to be photo approved and we truly enjoyed watching the photos appear on their social media pages. It not only gave us peace of mind, but we saw just how much they truly care for the pets who are in their care. This staff really loves what they do and it's great to know Charlie is in good hands. If you read this, and are a new client... mention my name and tell them you are a new client. They will give me $10 towards my next bill and then take off $25 off the exam with the doctor during your first visit!!

Took my healthy dog (English Bulldog) to get spayed. PLEASE READ:

*Then they began to nickel and dime me for things you'd think would be included in the higher-than-most-places spay fees (e.g., pain medicine).
*During the time leading up to the procedure my dog hurt herself in their kennels and I was forced to foot the bill.
*After picking her up I noticed they trimmed one of her nails too short which caused her bleeding (and surely pain).

***The next morning my poor dog was DEAD.

Dr. Curd is excellent. She is very detail oriented when she is speaking to you about your animal. I only wish that when I call and leave messages for her to call me back that she would get the messages. Other than that I enjoy taking me animals to Ellison Drive.
