Dr Fermin Briones Jr is a native of San Antonio, Texas. He was born & raised in San Antonio and is a psychiatrist licensed by the Texas Board of Medicine. Dr. Briones is Board Certified in Psychiatry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is an alumnus of Central Catholic High School & St. Mary's University. He also went to medical school at University of Texas at Houston and trained as a psychiatrist at UT Houston. He was Chief Resident at the University of Texas Medical School Psychiatry Residency Program. Dr. Briones is a General Adult Psychiatrist who works with adults and geriatric patients. He was faculty at Baylor College of Medicine and served our veterans, Americaââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s heroes, at the Michael E DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX. He moved back to his hometown to be closer to his family. Dr Briones treats a full range of psychiatric disorders and specializes treating Adults including Adult Attention Defiect Disorder, Anxiety, Depression and Mood Disorders. He lives and works in Alamo Heights and serves San Antonio and surrounding areas. He is fluent in in Spanish and English.
