Daddy'S Tint & Alarm

Money well spent! I’ve been putting off tinting my windows but so glad I finally went. The service was very pleasant, the car looks fantastic and the timing of year is perfect because it was convenient to get an appointment. I highly recommend!

Great Service! Stopped in to get an estimate and schedule an appointment for window tint...got a very good price and they said it could be done now, with a 1 hour installation time. Javier did a wonderful job with the application...i am very satisfied and would highly recommend! Mac

I thought that I was receiving a good deal but Daddy's is WAYYYYY overpriced. I bought an alarm for my Jeep from them that cost me $300. The exact same Excalibur alarm was $179 at SOUND MASTER TINT & ALARM. I put the alam and tint on my Silverado at Sound Master for the same price of just the alarm at Daddy's. I won't go back to Daddy's. Go see JR at Sound Master if you need either/or both tint and alarm.. He's a great stand up guy who's easy to work with. Damon of Daddy's is not easy to work with and feels that NO ONE is intitled to a discount, even if you bring him more work. OH and before he says I'm not real and not a real customer. Job well done! Daddy's did a wonderful job tinting my 2011 Ford Fusion last week. The tint cured in about three days and looks great. When I get in my car now it is much cooler. Daddy's service is outstanding. Quality of workmanship is great. Turn around time was quick. Job well done Daddy's Tint and Alarm.

BE CAREFUL!!, i went to them to have my tint installed, they upsold me to their "premium" brand of tint Diamond with a lifetime warranty back in 2007, well the tint is now bubbling and i went to them to have it fixed, well i got a typical business response "the tint supplier went out of business and we cant help you!" its kind of sad cause this is almost what i expect out of a "lifetime" warranty, DONT go to daddys, they dont stand behind the products they sell

Just got done getting an alarm installed at Daddy's . . . they did a great job. They gave me a quote over the phone and it was the same price when I showed up for my appointment. They told me over the phone that there might be an additional expense for a part they might need, and they told me again before the work was completed. As it turned out, it wasn't needed - but I appreciated the fact they were concerned that I knew what was going on, and they didn't rip me off when they found out it wasn't needed.

When I got there, I was prepared for a long wait, so I was ready to walk down the street to find a restaurant to get a bite to eat and to study. When these guys heard that, they insisted on driving me to any local place I wanted to go. They also recommended quiet places to study as well. They dropped me off and picked me up when the work was done - and they were happy to do it. And if I wanted to stay at the shop, they made it clear I was welcome there as well.

When they were done, the van was clean of their work and everything looked great. They went over the functions of the alarm and made sure I was fully comfortable with it. They also made sure I was completely satisfied and actually told me to post my HONEST opinion on this site. That's easy - they did great!

Their shop is ridiculously clean and neat. They make sure the showroom appears and smells nice, and it doesn't look like any car radio/alarm/tint shop I've ever seen before. The work area is very clean as well and is a place you wouldn't be embarrased to bring your kids or your wife/girlfriend, because you won't find any bikini-clad chick posters on the wall - a rarity in this business.

Awesome people are at Daddy's, treating people right. They could teach lessons on proper customer service to their competitors!

Not only was the quality, workmanship and price first class, the customer experience was well beyond what I would expect from any service provider.



It started out as a comedy of errors on my part. My daughter was out of town and I wanted to surprise her by having her windows professionally tinted on her car as part of her graduation reward. I showed up late for my appointment after forgetting to call and let them know I was coming, but Jesse had already started on a walk in and was booked the rest of the day following week. But instead of being turned away, Jesse and his son arranged for me to leave my car overnight and promised to get it done within the next few days as time permitted realizing how important it was to me to have it done before my daughter returned.



The next challenge came when I told Jesse that, not only did I not have a ride, but I realized I had left my wallet at home. Kindly, Jesse took his lunch time to give me a ride home in my daughter's car. As I drove home I looked down and realized that the gas tank was empty but I assured Jesse there was enough gas for us to get my wallet and get to the nearest gas station. He offered to buy gas and bill me later but I was sure we were fine. By this time he had to wonder what in the world he had gotten himself into.



We arrived at my home only to be concerned that the fuel gauge was warning us we had a range of "zero" miles and the gas station was still two miles away. Jesse smiled and waited patiently as he watched me get the lawn mower gas can and fill the tank with the little bit of gas I had.



After fueling the car at the gas station and allowing Jesse to get back to work I was surprised to have him call me four hours later to tell me he was able to get my car in and that I could pick it up after 5:00 if I wanted it that day. I picked it up the next day and WOW what a great looking car! The quality and workmanship are outstanding. I even found myself turning down the AC because it felt so cold (and this was on a very hot humid day), confirming what Jesse said about the outstanding heat reflection that his material provides over other more popular cheap brands.



As i was leaving I inquired about windshield UV and heat protection for this car and my other cars and was happy to learn that Daddy's Tint and Alarm uses the 3M Crystalline 3MCR90 Clear Automotive Window Film that is the rave in the industry. I will be back over the next several months for that service and look forward to introducing my family to another great family. Thanks Jesse. Didn't catch your son's name but he is certainly class act in his own right.

I had my car tinted at Daddy's Tint near the medical center last week and was so pleased with the excellent service I received, I had to write a review. I did not have a ride after all that day and was not looking forward to waiting in the waiting area for 3 hours. Luckily I didn't have to.......the owner himself asked me if I had a ride and when I said I did not, he offered to take my home or to work if it was within a few miles, or to the Huebner Oaks shopping center. I was very taken back with his offer. He actually drove me to AMC movie theater so I could watch a movie and came to pick me up after it was over. I came back, my car was ready early and I got to see a movie in the process. Furthermore, my car looks awesome!! These guys run a great shop and treat their customers really good. Thank you, Daddys! You will definitely get my future business.

Just had my windows tinted at Daddy's and am very impressed by the quality of workmanship, price, product used and the professional and friendly environment. As a female I was never talked down to and I was allowed to take my time and really go through the whole process getting all my questions answered. Service was fast and convenient (...the owner will even offer to run you back home if you live in the area and need to leave your car for a while.) I was allowed to change my mind several times until I got the look i was trying to achieve. I will have work done here again and would highly recommend this vendor, Very female friendly shop...no intimitation experienced / no machismo shop attitude, Welcoming shop with high end customer service. Extremely professional.

I am very satisfied with my Bentley that was done by DADDYs! I came there with a nightmare tint job by a cheap moblie tint guy and had them remove the other guys garbage tint to have the BEST 3M Tint installed and very happy now!! Daddy's should be your only stop when looking for the BEST job in town!! Thank you again!! On there web site my car is the 2007 Black Bentley do not get fool by fake reviews for other San Antonio Tinter! These guys are the ONLY ONE TO GO TOO!!

Now this place knows how to tint. I actually checked here before I went and I have no regrets. They have excellent customer service and offer superb products. Their prices are reasonable and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Earlier this week I took my new Ford Focus into Daddy's Tint and Alarm Store on Huebner Road near the medical center to have window tint put onto my car. I was amazed at how professional, yet friendly the people were to me at this establishment. I was treated as if I had brought in an expensive vehicle. In fact, there was a Porsche in the shop at the same time as my Focus and I was treated just as well as the Porsche owner. I strongly recommend Daddy's Tint and Alarms to everyone in San Antonio. I shopped around for weeks before making my mind up where to take my car. I was looking for a good product at a good price. What I found by searching were that many tint shops in our city are run by highschool kids and young adults who are disrespectful and I was a little nervous about leaving my car in their care. Once I drove up to Daddy's, I noticed the nice landscaping, fresh paint, and then walked inside to a cool, nice smelling office, was greeted with a smile and treated with respect. Just shop around, and I'm sure you will agree.

I had my windows tinted on my brand RX-8 and had concerns about fading, tint laws for other states, warranties, etc. You name it, I asked it. Daddy's had all the answers to my questions and provided exceptional customer service from the phone call making the appointment to the finished product (check out the finished product on their website!). I am very pleased and will recommend Daddy's to all my friends!
