David D. and Rick were great - they were informative with my options - took the time to explain everything and were very helpful. I will gladly recommend Cowboys to my friends and family.

Never use Cowby's AC and Heating if you can avoid it. I would not even call them back to have them check my dog's house! Having had two encounters with the infamous Cowboys tech. David Martinez, he is instructed by his company superiors as well as the company owner to SELL!SELL!SELL! instead of FIX! FIX! FIX!.

On the first time they he came out to do a winter unit check, he determined only after about twenty minutes into his diagnosis that my heating unit was emitting dangerous levels of Carbon Monoxide. Since my wife was the one at home on this occasion he used his Scare Tatic of telling her that the unit needed to be changed out now! Never in his conversation did he tell my wife why there was a carbon monoxide problem. But for a price of $3600.00 he could fix the problem the next day.

This happen in the fall of 2010. Being that they were calling people for their winter special of $29.95 we fell for it and yes as our business minded mothers always say

you get what you pay for in this case we got more then what we wanted to hear. Short story long, fast forward to December of 2011 they finally send a technician for their 2nd opinion that I had been requesting since last year. But quess who they send? yes the infamous David Martinez.. Since I had never met him and my wife did remember him I said to her lets see what his M. O. is, what story will he come up with this time. Well, Well,and Well! wouldn't you know it same verse and story as last year.

Since I had already had my unit checked after his first assestment in 2010 by another reliable AC and Heating Co.and no problems were found. This time he became hysterical because his cabon monoxide meter detected a high level and we needed to call the SAFD and if he called they would shut the house down and if we ran the heater we would die over the night and yada, yada,yada...but for only $4500.00 and $1250.00 to clean the unit's A-Coil and because he was very! concern that we were in danger, he would throw in a free carbon monoxide detector better then the ones I had in the house. Well he did take care of the problem when he intentionally disabled the heater blower from the unit and did not notify us. This we found out when at 3:00 A.M. my wife turned the heater on and no air was coming out only heat. His malicious ill intented behavior and actions borders on pursuing legal action on our part. But I will give Mr. Al Martinez , onwer of Cowboys AC & Heating the benifit of the dought that he needs to take some type of corrective action againist David Martinez who in my opinion is not a ' Rotten Apple; but a Crazy Rotten Apple who is giving Cowboys a very bad reputation. By the way when I called the main office to send someone ASAP! to hook up the heater blower, guess who was five minutes away from my house and according to the dispatcher the only one available, no it was not Mr. Al Martinez-the onwner of Cowboys whom I still waiting to hear from when I requested that he call me to discuss this matter, but the one and only one the Infamous D.M. who stated he did'nt know how the wire from the blower unit came off, Yea Right! I could keep on writing all night long about this experience with Cowboys but some one has to expose this scam thats giving Cowboys a chance to rip people off and putting people in danger by having workers like David Martinez who will go to extreams by disabling parts of our unit which could have caused a house fire. These type of people are known as social pathics who don't have any conscious an in some cases they don't even care about themself. Wake up Al Matinez!, you have a ticking bomb as your worker who is not too far from causing harm to a potential customer.

My airconditioner unit went out around 7pm and after a web search, I called Cowboys Air Conditioning & Heating and within the hour Ray Rodriguez was on his way over. Ray was fantastic with his knowledge, professionalism and a well stocked truck my unit was up and running again in no time at all. Thank you Cowboys Air Conditioning and once again thank you Ray Rodriguez.

Started out my morning listening to Y100 and they were talking about how lots of people were having problems with their air conditioning. With the extreme temps we’ve been experiencing I was very thankful my air conditioner wasn’t affected…yet. After a long hot day of work I came home to a non functioning air conditioner. I remembered hearing Y100 talk about Cowboys so I gave them a call. I spoke to a live person and they sent David out the same night. As a single woman and first time homeowner I was nervous and put up my defense so I didn’t get worked over by a salesperson. David completely put me at ease and set me up with an amazing deal. Not only that but he was able to get my system working just for the night until the crew showed up to replace the unit the next day. My roommate and I are now enjoying a nice cool house and the relief of getting the right people to do the job. The customer service, respectful employees, and great warranty are what make Cowboys one of the best companies I have ever worked with.

They went to extra mile for us. They really know what they're doing and are the best choice for a low low cost.

Cowboys A/C was just here and saved me from a hot Texas summer! Rey Rodriguez came out and saved the day! He was prompt, courteous and extremely knowledgable! Hard to believe he was out on this over 100 degree day working in the sun. Yet he remained friendly and took care of everything quickly and efficiently! He gave me all my options and had it running like a champ in no time! I was so impressed I have now signed up with Cowboys A/C for them to come out keep it all running smoothly! I cannot say enough at how pleased I am.

John was very personable and seemed to know a great deal about what he was doing. He explained everything in detail and was very helpful in telling us what we needed to maintain the air conditioners.



Cowboys - keep him and give him a raise! We will call your service again.

David and Tony were super. They stayed late to fix everything and answered all questions and concerns I had. Cowboys A/C has been my service choice for years.

Tech showed up and attempted to rip me off.

Wanted to charge 4800 to replace an a/c coil and 725 to replace a valve.



The cost to do this with any honest a/c repair would be 1200-1500 and 125 for the valve.



My opinion from my experience is that Cowboys a/c techs are not techs wanting to repair your issue they are sales men attempting to make as much as they can from you.

Cowboys AC has men walking in our neighborhood putting flyers on the doors of the homes. They are walking in between the bushes and the houses looking in the windows. When I called Cowboys to let them know about this scary behavior they laughed and told me to go outside and talk to them. I told them I would not and that I would be calling the police instead. They laughed again and told me to go ahead and hung up. Be very wary people-I certainly do not feel safe having these people outside my home much less inside reapairing anything

Rip off!! They like to take advantage of the elderly. My grandmothers AC system is about 2 years old (This company did not install). Cowboy just cold called her to have her AC checked. Once they get in, they want to sell you all these other things you don't need. Not very professional to take advantage of the elderly.

John was very informative. Upon request of a mold sample, he returned to the attic and produced multiple samples for me. He also explained treatments and provided time for me to check other sources of treatment.

Very happy and thankful! Awesome job! When I needed them in a short amount of time, they helped out. Great installation and stuck by their word.

Cowboys was very knowledgeable and thorough. They saved me a lot of money!

David D and Adrian did a wonderful job and we're very pleased with the unit.

Expensive, so hold on to your wallet! Was out to my residence twice in one day. Once in morning for about an hour 20 minutes, then when it went out again, that evening for over three hours. Cost me a $1000.00 for voltage fuse, high voltage control, and voltage reducer transformer. The first visit was $465.00 and then the second visit was $537.00 (this is with a 10% discount). Makesue you know the cost of equipment before they install the parts. Each visit will cost you more, but.... they will put all the charges towards the cost of future work, and they will add on free service call visits from them (this includes their preventive maintenance check ups) ($129.00 for first two visits).



The Technicians seem professional, and the company does do a follow up call prior to your scheduled appt to ensure you were contacted by a technician.

David and Adrian were extremely knowledgeable and helpful upon their recent visit to our home to service our air conditioner. We just moved here from Colorado and are not familiar with the needs of San Antonio. We appreciate their professionalism.

David and Adrian were prompt and really nice people to work with. Cowboys has some excellent people working for them.

From the time my wife and I moved into our house we have had efficiency issues with our AC units. Seeing as how our units have been inspected twice, by different companies, and nothing was found, we just assumed it was something we had to live with.



Upon signing up for Spring Cleaning special our technician, Tony, quickly pointed out several major flaws to our units that not only were about to cause damage to our ceilings but were also killing us on energy bills.



Within the same week we were scheduled to get it fixed at a very affordable price, Tony even came on his day off to finalize the work order. The two technicians that came out got straight to work and were very thorough, the end result is that my house is finally cool without over taxing the A/C system and better yet a notably lower energy bill.



In my case Cowboys work is paying for itself!
