Barbecue Station

Had an appetite for BBQ and was told this was the Best in the area. By NO meas so. The creamed corn was OK. The brisket was Terrible! It was far too salty, tough, and cold. Besides that it was expensive. A small portion for my wife and myself $15,50 with no drink.And the noise was ear shattering.

This is were my husband and I had our first date 10 years ago. Have been a customer since. The brisket and chicken is my favorite. The service is welcoming and we recommend it to anyone

My wife and I were traveling through San Antonio and stopped in for lunch. It was quick and delicious. The Wallet Watcher's Special was just the right amount if food for lunch. We were in and out in 25 minutes. My brisket was tender with a nice smoke ring. My wife's sausage was very flavorful. The sides were also good. And there was nothing wrong with the ambience. It is a quaint restaurant with great food! Only thing missing was a scoop of rice for the beans. :)

I had the Wallet Watcher's Special with brisket, pinto beans and green beans and it came with a drink. It was reasonably priced at $5.59.



The service was excellent. The food was served very quickly.



I liked the all you can eat serve yourself pinto beans.



The brisket was average.



The BBQ sauce was good and they kept a bottle on the table which is awesome!



The green beans were ok but I wished they were more like Bill Miller's.



The sweet tea was excellent.



Pickles and onions were serve yourself. Nice.



The decorations are pretty cool.



Overall it was very good. I plan on going back.

This is a hidden gem that hopefully will remain a "locals-only" favorite. Great barbecue and inexpensive, too!
