Avenue

The Avenue store located in Westover Market Place on 8219 State Highway 151, Space 109, San Antonio,TX 78245 has got to be one of the worst stores I have ever been in. The store clerks talk about the customers that come in and are rude and nasty. they are fine as long as you don't challenge them on things they should not be doing. And when you point that out to them they fall back on store policy but when you read the policy, you see the clerks evidently have not because nothing they say is in line with the policy. I paid cash for an item and they got angry when I refused to give them my personal information or credit card info. When I return an item that I had purchased only an hour or so previously, they got upset and said that because I paid cash and did not give them any of my personal info, they could not make a refund based on their written store policy. When I read the policy and had my receipt, they got very nasty and even discussed it in my face with other customers. How impolite, disrespectful, and unprofessional the two clerks were!!! They even threatened to call security when they were the ones to start yelling. I told them to call since I was not going anywhere until I got my refund in accordance to their own policy. They then asked for everything I purchased back to include the item I was trying to return. how rude!!! I told them the only reason I was returning the item was because someone else had gotten the exact thing I needed and I had just found out ... they could care less. Their bad behavior continued until I left. And yes they reluctantly gave me a refund when they realized they had gotten caught lying about their own store policies. I will never shop at any avenue no matter where and neither will my friends and family and co-workers. My advice is to know all store policies before doing business with Avenue or any other store. I learned my lesson ... I am glad I knew ...
