Biggest ripoff artists ever. They had a guitar marked down from $399 to $375. Would not budge on price. Whomever priced it however never looked it up and come to find out a new one goes for $220. I took it back and asked the owner for any kind of help with such a mistake. He said I should have checked the price online before buying it. With what? My magical guitar pricing booklet I just happen to take with me? He then turned over the price tag on thw same model guitar he had hanging and my jaw dropped when I saw $99! He then laughed and said that it was just buyers remorse and asked me to leave if I wasnt happy and walked me out of the door. I didnt want a refund, just a credit, exchange or even an apology and he refused to give me any of them. WORST pawn shop I have ever been to and I used to manage one in the 90's. I wouls have never price gauged likw this. What a ripoff!!!!!!!

I have been coming to this pawn shop on a semi regular basis for a few months, and am always treated well

by the staff there. I have a few items in right now that I pay on regularly and there have been a couple of

times where I was late and could have lost the item but they worked with me so that I was able to keep the items in pawn without

losing them. The store is open a little later which helps and personally I have never had any problems, the guys in the front

always treat me with respect and are quick. I hope to be out of the situation soon but would definitely use this business again

if I get into another jam and say the same to friends.

Friendly staff and knowledgeable helped me trade in a couple of old firearms to purchase some new ones will def. recommend to friends.

Went in to get a loan on my laptop, they were quick and able to beat the offer from the first shop I went to. Will def. be using them again if I need to get another loan.

They could care less about customer retention. I thought being a good and very frequent customer would be worth something, but at this place it means nothing! Most of my experiences were positive until today. I was only three days late to take out layaway, and I was completely shafted. They pulled my items and I lost $400 in payments. The fact that I would shop there regularly and purchased $100s at a time did not make the equation when the owner supposedly tried to offer me a deal on the items that were pulled. In my opinion, this should account for something, but he totally refused to work with me. My motto is "What goes around, comes around." With that in mind, I am not upset. I am merely disappointed with their business practice and the fact that good customers mean nothing. Not to mention the fact that the owner is a greedy businessman. Open a layaway only if you will take it out by the due date. Otherwise be prepared to lose your money without any compromise from management.

Took a monitor to be pawnd to get some quick cash.My girlfriend was behind me talking to Another worker,The workers didn't know we were together and thought my girl was by herself.My girl wanted to see what they would offer her for a ring I gave her for ur annivesary 4 months ago.(We were Not going to pawn the ring, just wanted to see what they woud offer)She ased what they would offer and they CONTINUED to ask her what she wanted instead,Stating that they NEED to know what She want's in order to make an offer.(I know this so thy don't offer you more then you want and WILL ALWAYS offer you less then your asking).She said she wanted $200,HeSaid He ":couldn't do that" and stated that they would Just Melt it,Then changed his mind and said "I would probably Sell it for $200".He went to his computer and came back with an offer of $85!(THE RING IS 14kWhite Gold with Real Diamonds,(I Bought From KAy Jewlers for $999.99)That is when I stepped in and said ONLY $85,You know how much......Before I could finish he says "I Know,It's expensive,But we are just going to melt it.So that;s all I can offer...We laughed and left,Stating we weren't going to pawn it was just checking.SO $85 for a $999 14k real Daimond ring???Ok so your going to just melt the gold,ok,What about the diamonds,The are worth way more then $85 alone?And what happend to you saying you could sell it for $200,WHich just happend to be the EXACT number My Girl asked for??Ya Crazy...lol...Funny that you were going to MELT this BEAUTIFUL ring from KAys,but yet have Less Beautiful ALL Gold Rings for sale in your casses.LONG STORY,I KNOW>>>>>>I Knew they weren't gonna offer Much but $85 PLEASE...I got STORYS and STORYS of they ridiculas Rip odff offers they try and pull.I KNOW# THEY READ THIS as "EDDIE" Responded above.Just saying exactly what happend no Lies here,If they get Upset ,just tells you what type of buiesness they are.As in the Response eddie did about the guy complaing the camera,He TRIED tyo sound Profesinal but his real self came out at the eand stating "You Should Look in to better brand instead of a cheaper deal"..lol..WHat does that Matter,Item is still from your store,Your selling that cheap item..

These guys are awesome. Had to pawn my pistol and laptop to make ends meet. They actually were able to help me out with more money than I had expected. Came back a few weeks later to pick up my stuff and they actually let me trade in my older laptop for a newer one at a killer price. Definitely will go back, they also have a HUGE selection of guns.

I went in to try and get a loan on my compter. I told the guy I was trying to come up with $150, I hand him the computer and before he even opens it he responds "buy the look of your hardware I dont think I'll be able to help you...". He procedes to write down the model of my laptop and walks away to research how much he can loan me. Anyways here is where I was left Dazed & Confused the guy comes back, backwards cap and all and lets me know that he wont be able to get me anywhere close to the $150 i was asking for.

The guy never even bothered to check the specs of my computer, not the ram, or the hd size, or anything one would i assume base the worth of the computer on. Needless to say i got my laptop told the guy thanks and left.



Alamo Pawn more like Alamo Pain!

I purchased a digi cam from there got home and screen was blank. Took it back and got another took it home and same thing. Manager then would not let me return or exchange. I took apart when I got home and found someone had very poorly tried to glue wires in place. If you get electronics from there chances are they will stop working within a couple days. Buyer Beware!!!
