The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema San Antonio is dinner, drinks, movies & events all at the same place. Named by Entertainment Weekly as the "Best Movie Theater in Nation," the Alamo Drafthouse never plays ads before the feature, is vigilant in keeping talkers and texters out of the movie theater & offers the best in both new release movies & alternative programming. We have tons of drinks including Draft & Bottled Beers, Champagnes, Specialty Drinks, Coffee, & of course Soda. We offer a huge selection of food including pizza, Mexican food, sandwiches, salads, & desserts from cheesecakes to root beer floats! Naturally, we also have the movie theatre favorites too like popcorn, candy, & jalapeno poppers. We host movie & special events regularly including live cast Rocky Horror Picture Shows, classic & cult movie showings, sports on screen, sing/quotealongs & more. Come join the fun!
I came here on a Saturday night. I had a great experience. The customer service was good. The popcorn was good and the salsa was AWESOME. I will go back.
Alamo Drafthouse is the only place we go to see movies! The staff, food and atmosphere are great! No stale popcorn or sticky wet gum ridden floors either. Love that a server will bring you a beer, snack, dinner whatever while you watch the movie. We take everyone who comes to visit us to the Alamo and they all have liked it too! Also like the no cellphone usage policy they have while the movie is showing! Management is sincere and really takes care of you too!
My wife an i love to visit this place, its a great date place. The food is hot and the drinks are surprising well made. Our kids love the fish and chips, with cheese on the fries! The fries are the thick wedge types. Enjoy!!
I would love this movie theater as the atmosphere for enjoying a movie is among the most comfortable. Cold beer and Chips & Queso, what more could one want? Unfortunately, the servers in the theater tend to be rude and self-absorbed.
