A Place to Shoot

I am attending a ladies class they are giving and they are wonderful. I had a fear of guns and was almost dreading the class, but our instructor has relieved all my fears and I actually enjoy the shooting. They are professional and take their training serious. I would recommend them to anyone!! Thank you A Place To Shoot!!

Another fabulous day at A PLACE TO SHOOT! Our ladies handgun class is fun and informative! The instructor has definitely walked many of us away from the "fear factor" and into a more comfortable feeling towards guns! Our husbands are amazed!

I have been a loyal user of this range over the last 8 years or so. I really enjoy the atmosphere and I like how everything is set up. I've been to other ranges and really didn't appreciate the wide open shooting arrangements...just my opinion of course. The facility set up I think is conducive to a really great shooting experience for the whole family. The pistol range target system is simple and safe ( no walking down lane) and I also like the fact that you have individual lanes and chairs as well. The rifle ranges are set from 25 - 200 yards and some have working spotting scopes as well. There not the best, but some are more than adequate...bring your own just in case. Good overhead cover and more than enough shooting stalls. The shotgun ranges are more than adequate and I have enjoyed them as well. The only issue that I hope will be rectified by the new management is the repair of the non working pistol lanes currently at the facility...there were quiet a few that have been in disrepair over the last 2 years or so. I asked the old management about this a year or so ago...and they just kind of shrugged. I feel that for the prices they charge, this should not be an issue...I hope this will not be the same under this new team! I don't think the prices are outrageous, but I do not agree with the additional charge for each weapon. I have access to a much closer range availble to me here in my area, but I rather travel the longer distance for a better expierience. This range is more than adequate for your needs...as with any thing there are positives and negatives, weigh each one closely and I think you will choose this one instead.

They are under new management and their whole aproach is customer service. The facilities are clean and well kept up. So much more to offer than any other range in south texas. I say give them a call

Really nice place. Very large facility Pistol range, rifle range out to 200 yds. Skeet, Trap, Crazy Qauil and Country Doubles. New management and staff, Real nice folks. Last time I was there the place was real clean and kept up. They even have a Gun store and Reloading supplies. By far the most to offer anywhere in south Texas. Protect your right to bear arms. Go shoot today.

The place was a great to sight in a rifle. Friendly people to do business with
