I was in a crunch because I applied for a passport through the government and it was getting close to my departure date and the passport office said they mailed it 2 weeks ago. I still hadn't gotten it. I called 3 different travel agencies and they all told me to call The Travel Broker. They were VERY knowledgable about my situation and let me know it happens alot through the mail. I was able to re-apply for a new passport and had it in 5 days!!! Yes, there was alot of rush fees involved, but anytime you want something fast, there's going to be a fee. And it was alot less than the other local company. I did not feel comfortable using an online company. I wanted to see someone face to face and know I was in good hands. I would recommend them to ANYONE who needs a fast passport. They are very professional and multi task excellently.
I have read a few of the negative reviews here and I can say that these people do not understand what the Travel Broker does and this could explain why they are dissatisfied with the service. The Travel Broker are experts in expediting and executing visa and passport paperwork. They are not cheap because their years of experience in getting your visa and passport done in a crunch is unique in Utah. If you have to get on a plane in five days and need a passport or a visa, they can do it like nobody else. It will be fast, efficient and you will be on your way without a worry. The Travel Broker has spent years building relationships with couriers, embassy people and others to ensure that your international paperwork gets top priority. They have nearly 30 years of experience so they know what to do, when to do it and who to go to. This service is nothing short of miraculous if you have an urgent need to travel overseas. Keep in mind, they are an agent for you. If fees change, it is because the various consulates and people they work with changed them. THEY PAY THESE FOR YOU TO EXPEDITE THE PROCESS. So, if they say it cost more than they expected, it is not some sneaky profit taking but rather a change that was unexpected. Their fees are clearly marked and do not change without notice. I find their cost to be very reasonable considering they take a process that normally takes weeks and compress it into days. I have used the Travel Broker several times over the past 20 years and I have to say I have always found them to be helpful, friendly and real experts. They dole our good advice and understand all the important aspects of traveling internationally. Just remember, if your need is not urgent, you can fill out the paper work yourself and let the government take its time (sometimes 8 or more weeks). Completing a passport application and getting photos are not the toughest things to do in the world and it will certainly cost less. I give The Travel Broker an excellent rating and strongly recommend them to anyone needing to travel abroad! They are excellent professionals that know this business well and deliver excellent service in doing it!
I was in a jam trying to get a student visa to the UK and they could not have been more helpful. I knew full well that it could take several weeks, but I needed it within 7 days.. They double checked my paper work, called down to the consulate to make sure I had the needed documents where the visa instructions were vague at best, and were very straight forward with the fees. Sure, I could have taken a gamble and done it myself, but no way I could have done it that fast and that hassle free. Well worth the price.
These morons take forever. They have an expedited 48 hour renewal service. haha please. I paid $300 for their renewal service and these jackasses took more than a week. Missed my trip and my friends wedding. Not in any way shape or form a reliable company. Surprisingly unfriendly also.
I am mainly commenting on behalf of what utahguy86 said. I found Travel Broker VERY helpful. The best part of them is that they are local! You can talk to them face to face and not fear who you are sending your PASSPORT to. You KNOW who has it. They are VERYgood at what they do, and they told me they've been in business for 28 years! That alone says alot, especially now-a-days!\r \r The money does seem like alot, however, not much of that is THEIR fee. It's either government or consulate fees. I would strongly recommend going through them, and it's only 3 women that run that place there, they are NOT bullies unless you're afraid of 3 women like utahguy86 must be. If he was bullied by them, when I saw how rude HE was to them. They handled him VERY professionally!
TERRIBLE. I have never wrote an online review before and I will this time because of the terrible service I received. First off they are already way over priced if you need a passport go to the post office and do it for less money and they will even expedite it for you so you get it in a matter of days and you don't have to pay extra service fees. If you are doing a visa use MYBRAZILVISA.COM or some other online source , My friend used this one and he spent $60 dollars less than I did and got it a week and a half sooner. However the thing that upset me the most is I paid $243 dollars for my visa the day it got here they called me and told me that the fee had changed and I owed them more money before I could get it. When I confronted them about changing the price after I had already paid they were angry at me and got in my face and did their best to belittle me and tell me i was out of reason for being concerned. I was amazed at how terrible of service they gave. I beg you for your own sake use anything else besides them. I already offered you alternatives but I encourage you to do your own research I wish I had it would have saved me time, money, and being treated rude.
I was in to get a passport, they were VERY busy, but treated me like I was the only one in there on a very personal level. When I came to get my passport when it was done (5 days later) they even remembered my name! I strongly suggest them if you need a passport quickly and they're local!!
I read your reviews, and really am amazed. My company does work with Travel Broker and has for atleast the 10 years I've been here. They seem to always have the answers I need, and we dont have time to just send in my passport by mail to get a visa. I HAVE to use a service to hand carry it through the process.\r \r We did have an instant where the CONSULATE (not Travel Broker) lost my visa. Travel Broker did EVERYTHING they could to recover it. Their people were in there every night after hours waiting to hear if they could locate it. Connie finally decided (due to time) it needed to be replaced and got on it FAST. I was able to get a passport AND a new visa still in time to leave for my trip.\r \r I strongly advise to use them. They can gurantee THEIR service, and IF anything goes wrong, they bend over backwards to fix it. Personal service is great, to see someone face to face.\r \r And I also heard that Stephanie lady you mentioned, was fired.
Travel Broker is the Middle Man of the Service, If you do alittle research and find where exactly you need to get your visa or passport. you will save alot of money.. AND your stuff won't get delayed and lost LIKE MY EXPERIENCE.. Im so MAD... My Flight tickets cost over $4000 and I lost it all do to TRAVEL BROKER.\r \r TRY at your own RISK
We used this agency twice for traveling to Kazakhstan to adopt. They lost my daughters passport. We had to pay to replace it. Two years later they found the passport in some old paperwork and promised to send it back to us. I talked to Connie on the phone, I said that it was not important to ?overnight? it but I did want it returned. Two months later I had not received it so I called to check up on it. I was in no way angry or upset....just checking to see if it was lost in the mail. Stephanie, who answered the phone said that she'd need a credit number in order to send it UPS. I said that I didn't think that was fair considering that it should have been returned to me in the envelop with our other passports and Visa two years ago. Connie, who was apparently listening in on the conversation, chimed in, VERY RUDELY, with ""well I don't have a padded envelop and I don't have time to go get one. I?ll just drop it in the mail...she hung up on me. Now is this any way to treat customers?
