Salem Health & Rehabilitation Center

It has been a good experience here. Food is good, nurses and CNA's are good to me. Therapy department and the nurses have taken very god care of me.

I would recommend this place to others. My transition from the hospital to Salem Health and Rehab was smooth. The people here are good from the nurses, CNA's to the therapist. The food is good, especially the meatloaf. I like coming to the different activities and have made a few friends here.

This is my third time needing therapy services and I've used Salem Health and Rehab all three times. I like the atmosphere of the place. Even my children have noted how good the therapy department is. They have helped me to be able to walk again. Cindy and McCoy are great therapists. All of the staff is extremely nice, courteous, and from what I've seen are truly compassionate. They take a genuine personal interest in each of their patients. The food here is very good. I feel like I've made many friends of the staff here. The activities assistant Kelly is a very special person. When I was in the hospital and they asked me where I wanted to go for therapy services I didn't hesitate a second to say Salem Health and Rehab.

I currently reside at Salem Health & Rehabilitation Center and I would recommend this facility before any other. The people that work at SHARC are good to people and understand the people they care for. Whenever I have a question for the staff if they don't know the answer they will find out and get back to me quickly. They are very intelligent and always have the nicest words and attitude when talking with me. The housekeepers are very efficient and keep the place clean. Whenever an issue comes up for maintenance they are quick to fix it. Their activity department is great. They have all sorts of activities and even if there isn't one that interests you they will make a whole new activity to include you. The nursing department is excellent. The food here is just like home and most of the time it's downright excellent. From the receptionist all the way up to the administrator everyone is friendly and good to everyone!
